Personally I really like the Sequoia, if you can go for a Montana room to be in the main building, but in any case you should have a great time!

Lol - I used to know what you mean. But after 54 visits (ranging from 3 - 14 days), combined with things like MMP and other not so great management decisions, although we have fun, I do not feel the pull as much anymore.

I sometimes wonder if I had been more like the average posters on this thread, and not experienced the glory days, if I would be happier? DLP was in definate decline from about 1999 to 2007, then the 15th really improved things. After the last trip, though we had fun, it seems like it is a roller coaster - some things better (cast and maintenance), some things much worse (staggered opening and closing).

I still have time on our APs and we have some time off in August, but I do not feel the pull any longer to go. If I could aford it, I would return to Disneyland in California (300+ visits), TDL or even WDW (I want to see the newly refurbed Hall of Presidents) has more appeal. But sadly we do not have enough time off or money.
since 2001 (many before that)

However, on the boredom factor, it amazes me that people ask this, given that some think nothing about playing the same golf course over and over, or watching a boring insignificant bunch of overpaid men run around chasing a ball. Lol.

Heck, there are some people that go to the same seaside hotel or Spanish resort year after year.

I didn't experience the "glory" days. My first visit was in 2001. But I do want to see DLP restore that quality it once had! The biggest problem, for me, is the overuse of toons. Toy Story Playland doesn't interest me one bit. Neither does Mickey's Magical Party. Top of my wishlist at the moment is for DLP to start introducing unique non-toon-based attractions again.

We must praise DLP when they do good though. Maintenance has improved a hell of a lot this year. I'm especially pleased about my Rock 'n' Roller Coaster being refurbed in September! There also seems to be live music more frequently now. It would be nice, when at DLP (I'm talking to everyone here), to drop in to City Hall and mention how much the park has improved maintenance-wise. It can't do any harm. If not, send an email via the official website. It will only encourage them to keep up the good work!

It is simply jealousy! We are able to have fun at Disneyland while they sit at home doing nothing or aimlessly walk round their local town centre.

During mY last visit I overheard some cm talking about how they have 60 percent less visitors then last year and they were scared that th park might close but I don think that will happen
one of the things that makes dlrp worse and worse is guest behaviour last time I was there I saw this lady swearing very roudly at Mickey because he was in a hurry and couldn't stop for more than a minute or two to sign authograph for her kids
I felt like grabing the first thing I could and hitting her across the head with it
