I get another 365 Days free, when I refer three friends of mine buying an AP! Must all three friends come at the same date or can I for example bring one friend at a time, when I am going to visit DLP?

Hello :) have just joined up after reading all these inteeresting posts regarding the annual fantasy passports! I visit DLP around 2-3 times per year, my son has speical needs and its great for him. Plus im disney mad like most of us here are  :D

Anyway down to buisness i was told about annual passes by a cast member last week, and giving it some thought i definately think i will buy me and my son one. Few questions if anyone would be kind enough to reply..?

Firstly; how much would one be for a 3 year old? I'm aware he would get a discount for being registerd disabled.
Sencondly; is anyone visiting between 5th-8th december this year? If so let me know, as have heard about the sponser thing.

Any additional info much appreciated. Keely

Hi Keely,

3 year olds are free. 4 and up cost the same price as an adult. However, I have found over the years, if you are going to make multiple trips and are not too bothered about being on site, then APs work out better. Also be aware, no discount discounts apply to APs as far as I am aware, just normal tickets.

you do need a park ticket/annual pass for any child aged 3 or over (under-3s are free).
I'm not aware of any reduction in price for an annual pass for a registered disabled person pixie dust, maybe you should clarify that with Disney before committing yourself to annual passes.

Hi elaine,
Thankyou for your reply. I rang dlp yesterday they told me its 10euros cheaper for my son. I stll think from what iahve red it is worthwhile getting i have looked at expedia website and can get a hotel cheyenne for 4nights and eurostar of their own website all together 210 wich i think is very good.

How do u travel & book your hotel ? I wonder if it will be cheaper using the discount for disney hotels when i get our a.p? Im not sure how it all works yet lol. keely

you won't get a better room only price than the Expedia winter midweek price, not even from Disney themselves. Its worth calling Disney to ask what the price would be for room only with your AP, but don't be surprised if its more expensive than a package with them would be.

I always book my travel separately from my hotel/tickets for DLP.

Thanks for that again elaine, brill advice :) expedia seems really cheap, it does say something about local taxes to be paid to hotel whats that about and how much roughly? i cant wait to return and get my pass doing some calcualtions i should save about half the price every time i visit by doing eurostar & hotel seperate! Casnt believe i have visited on countless occasions and never new about what you could save, suppose ive been in the dark for sometime!? lol... keely

local taxes at all hotels in France, even the onsite Disney hotels, are around 2 euros per adult per night. We've stayed room only onsite booked through Expedia before, and weren't charged any local taxes at all  :) .

It is easy to lose track with the APs. I have been about 57 times now, of those I think I bought a package 4 times. I remember one year, with lost of advance planning, we were at DLP every 6 to 8 weeks (though back then they offered a lot more streetmousphere and live entertainment). Now we are content to go once a year and travel elsewhere. But the APs do work out well if going for more than 4 days in a year, or staying off site with a car.

57 blimey! thats alot i think i have been around 20times, i have been twice this yr and going december.. i visit more now i got my son he has disabilities and is the ideal holiday for him as theres lots for him to c and so and disney cater so well for guests with disabilites. we go for 4days usually but once i buy the annual pass i will be able to afford a longer stay as its so much less than the package price im used too. love the photo of haunted mansion btw what a classic ride! keely

Yep, the most cost effective way we find even going once a year is to maybe go June or Summer in one year and then Easter the following. Even if you do not go in between, it can save you a fortune. Add in things like the free parking, and discounts on food and drink, it is a good deal.

and agreed, they cater very well for disabilities.
