Quote from: "Mr D Duck"Hey all,

I've just received my first ever Fantasy Annual Pass from ce multiavantages :D.

I'm just a bit worried because nowhere on the cardoard temporary ticket does it state that it is a 20th anniversary pass. I'm concerned that when I go to exchange it inside the park, I'll get the old style pass :(.

I'm staying off-site but I'm desperate to take advantage of EMHs as I'm having to visit at the end of July. I'm lead to believe that Fantasy pass holders can access EMHs despite staying off-site, if they have the newer 20th anniversary pass.

Can anyone clarify if the annual passport office now  hand out 20th anniversary passes to everyone or if they still use older style ones for those who buy from ce multiavantages?

Thanks in advance.

in July when you exchange your temporary pass for the permanent one at DLP, you'll get the 20th anniversary version, because thats the only one DLP have at the moment, until the end of the 20th anniversary later in the year. They have no other version and they don't give out different versions depending on where you have got your temporary pass etc.

Hi,

I am looking to buy 3 Dream AP's for my family as we are looking to go between  July 3-7th.  I have two young children who will be 3 and 2 near the end of July.  The site I have looked at are offering a childs AP at 35 euros when bought with an adult's but wondered If I can buy one now for my two year old as we will be going before he is 3.  I know he would be free when we go but dont want to have to fork out again for a full price AP for him when we next go.  Has anyone bought an AP for an under 3 before.  Or could I just purchase the ap now and exchange it once he is three? I believe they have to be exchanged within 6 months but does anyone know if they have to all be exchanged at the same time as the adults?

Do they check the age of the child when the e-ticked is exchanged ?

Thanks in advance

you can buy your 2-year old's pass for 35 euros then get a permanent annual pass for him when you get the permanent annual passes for everyone else, no problem doing this.

Quote from: "nathaliedeheld74"Hello, we want to buy 6 AP with our family for our 3 week-holiday. Do we get a discount for buying 6 passports? We are definitely one family but we do not have the same surname. ( 2 children from a former marriage).

We do know a shareholder with an AP who wil accompany us buying our AP's.

What is your advice?

Nathalie

I only know the discount counts for 5 people in the same family, don't know what happens if there are more.

You do need somekind of proof that you all live at the same adress.
Over here we can get a paper from our city hall which states that.

If it's only for 5, you should already try and calculate what would be cheaper.
The family discount, of the discount getting from an AP holder (10 % per AP) as you can't mix the 2 discounts together.

Thanks Elaine, thats great, we decided to move our dates back a week so we arrive one day before his third birthday anyway, so if there had been a problem we would have just got them the next day!

Thanks again, now we are all excited.  The kids are going to love it, they get really excited watching the fireworks over the disney castle on just the tv!

OK, that's it, I've finally convinced my DH that an AP is the way to go!!!  :D/  :D/

Does anyone know what the AP office opening hours are? And is there a better time to go during the day (or a time to avoid...)?

Oh, another (slightly cheeky) question....

When we go next week we're going with a hotel + park tickets package (which I know means we cannot deduct the price of the park tickets from the AP). Since we're not using them to get the APs, will we be able to keep our old park tickets, and will they still be valid?

I ask because we have some friends who are thinking of joining us for one day... So instead of making them buy park tickets for the day they're with us, I thought we could just give them our old  :-$

so you are going to have annual passes from the start of your trip next week?
If so, then yes, you can give your package park tickets to your friends, they will be valid for the duration of time you have booked on the package.

basically any time you are passing the AP office and they're not queued out the door, do your AP then. I'd possibly bite the bullet and do it as soon as the AP office opens (I don't know the opening times etc but City Hall would be able to tell you). Remember to take your passports with you for photo ID, you'll need them when getting your APs.

Great, thank you Elaine!!

Oh, about the IDs, will I need any ID for my daughter? She's just turned 2 so she wont be needing a passport yet, will I need some sort of proof?

a copy of your daughter's birth certificate should do fine I'd have thought, as she doesn't need photo ID for anything else yet at her age.

Doesn't she need an international ID thing?

When I took my sister to DLRP when she was only 11, we had to get her an international ID pass at city hall.
(as of 12 years old, you get your permanent ID in Belgium, which will count in every country)

We can take her passport (we're travelling to the UK before going to Disney, so we'll have it with us anyway)

Thank you again :D

Really excited, I've been waiting YEARS to have an AP... :D

Never2old, the passport office hours this week was 10.00 to 21.30.
I arrived at the park at 20.45 on Tuesday evening and although the ticket booths were closed, I was able to pay at guest services (to the right as you face the park, next to the baggage storage and Salon Mickey) And they even phoned through to the passport office to let them know I was on the way! There was only one other customer there so I would guess 21.00 on a weekday would also be a good time to visit!
I was going to buy a Dream passport, but as they are still offering Early Magic Hours with 20th Fantasy pass I went for that and saved 40 Euros! I never visit at peak times, can't stand the crowds, so the 40 blackout days did'nt bother me.
Welcome to our exclusive club! Well, only a few 100 thousand of us!!!
