Screamscape.com posted that WDI had a meeting with Cirque Du Soleil at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim.

I have never seen a Cirque Du Soleil show, we didn't get tickets in Las Vegas for any of the shows due to the Consumer Electronic Show and we didn't want to pay over $200 "O" or "Ka".

Is there still enough space at the resort or will they use the land that TWDC purchased a few years ago?

There are still 3 expansion pads in DTD in Anaheim, as well as a large car park area between the DLH and the main multi story car park.

Kind Regards,

Thanks for the info!

Is the CdS in Florida successful? I'm asking, because I read somewhere that the one at TDR was facing some problems even before the earthquake.

Maybe it would be a good addition for Paris as well.

Hmmm, the one in Florida was doing amazingly well, though I am not sure these days. Then again, La Nouba is 11 years old now.

Zed in Tokyo has never been a huge success. Friends of mine in Tokyo have been telling me it is running at a loss, and there are loads of discount tickets available (some including free admitance to TDL - that was before the quake).

As for Paris, I would quite surprised if CDS did come to the resort. The excellent Crescend'O aquatic circus (like CDS's O in Vegas), by Muriel Hermine, did not even run for a full year. It was half full the two times I went and it closed after a hurricane hit DLP, however the tent was repaired and it has hosted Grease and other stage shows/conferences since. I think it was convenient. And with all do respect, those were in the days where DLP seemed to bring in a different calibre of guests (it was not all about the characters and buffets, there was no Cafe Mickey and the resort was advertised as a resort for all). I do not think it would be a success at DLP (though I would love to be proved wrong, I adore CDS).

Given the facts you provided, I don't see it happen in Paris either. Is there a permanent CdS stage show in Europe? I know there is touring one.

When CdS is no success in Japan than it will never be one at DLRP. TDR has so many visitors and there live so many people in Tokyo.

According to Screamscape.com a Cirque Du Soleil is not planed for DL Anaheim. Instead the show should come to Hong Kong Disneyland.
