The more I look at that poster the more I think, or hope, it must be fake. The lack of sharpness on the logo is dreadful and I can't believe they would release it looking like that to celebrate such a huge milestone. The 'TH' and 'Anniversary' don't like right either, in fact you can see bleeding round the ages of all components except Mickey. Look how sharp Mickey's face is compared to the Paris in Disneyland Paris - world's apart.

This makes me think someone has taken the Mickey image and thrown their own bits on to make this poster. If not then the DLP graphics department need a refresher course.

Unfortunately not a fake, it's on the cover of the Leger Holidays  Oct 11 to Oct 12 Disneyland Brochure.

Goodness me. Quality control has taken a dive - good for anyone applying for a designer role as standards are petty low!

It amazes me that the official brochure looks okay and a lot better than in recent years, at least I'm not disappointed, and than Disney surprises us with such a cheap and terrible cover.

I have the official brochure! I got it off a travel agent today, and it looks great; very professional! much better than the photoshopped picture books we've had the last couple of years. The front cover doesn't have the horrifying poster on it. It has a cartoon version of Mickey in the bottom-left corner wearing the same suit. He's smiling up at an amazing array of colours floating in the air behind six of the characters, who are flying around the castle. The branding seems to be a rainbow look with golds and greens.

The first page has a new map of the the resort on a pull-out page. The second page shows the new stuff for the 20th: the Disney Colour, Light and Magic Show, the Disney Magic on Parade (which oddly had a picture of the Soundsational parade in Disneyland California) and Meet Mickey Mouse. There's also "extended hours" and new magic hours.

The next page also mentions a new "Main Street USA Celebrates" thing, but I can't gather what it is from the description, but it seems to have something to do with lights.

Also, the phrase "magic, light and colours" appears a lot. :P

Not at the moment, sorry. However, it's coming out tomorrow, anyway, so there's probably no point. :) There's a photo of the front cover on the brochure thread.

None of the event names are very inventive are they?
Disney Colour, Light and Magic Show? Disney Magic on Parade? Meet Mickey Mouse? All these things could have had fantastic names.

Light and Magic show = Fantillusion maybe?

These are the sort of names you would expect a knock-off Disney Park to "dream up".

The "dreams" logo via InsideDLParis:

//http://twitpic.com/show/thumb/7cds6f.jpg

looks very "world of color". I don´t know if that´s a good thing cause I wasn´t that impressed by WoC during my october dl visit.
Wer nämlich mit "H" schreibt ist dämlich.
