I think for him to be successful (by successful I mean merchandise sales) they have to push him in all aspects of the park, no one is going to buy a Duffy plush if they have no idea who he is.

That is true but to help along the merchandise sales I'm going to by myself one and Kyra one lol. Everyone needs a Duffy bear

No, unfortunately they didn't say exactly when... just that it would be coming.  I agree that his Parisian outfit is very cute.

So apparently some artist has been working very hard on a replacement for the "River Excursions" mural beside the boarding house on Main Street, and apparently it will have something to do with Duffy, that bear. How does this person sleep at night?

Duffy is in the pictures that have just been released to advertise Christmas on the DLP website. He looks quite cute hugging Mickey I don't really like him very much in his sailor outfit as much as his others though.

I wonder whats happening with the river boats! I will miss them!!

Presumably it has been removed in order to prep the structure for its replacement. Isn't it controversial?

I find it slightly annoying that this beautiful image, which was designed for Disneyland Paris, can now only be found in Anaheim. Where they don't even have a body of water called the Rivers of the Far West.

Does anyone know whether Duffy the bear merchandise is available at DLRP?  I have searched the internet and can't find anything.  I will be at the resort at the end of November and I am hoping to purchase a bear.  If anyone has any photos of any merchandise on sale I would be very grateful if I could view them.  Does anyone know whether there will be a character representation this year, as it seems to be big news in other parks.

Duffy will be in the park this year doing meet and greets and he has been shown in the promotional shots and the trailer thingy.

I don't know if you can buy him though. I will have a look next week when I am there but I am sure someone else knows on here.

Will be watching this thread.  We are going on 24th October and my dd would love a Duffy Bear (actually, so would I!!)  Fingers crossed the merchandise arrives early!

36 sleeps till our 4th visit to DLRP.  Not too sure on Duffy bear. They got rid of the pumpkin men saying they were not disney and now an unknown bear is created.  will still buy one though

I've very much enjoyed DLRP Magic's round up of the coming attractions this Christmas, However, Duffy the Bear? Anyone else think that this is a unnecessary (and quite frankly cheap/Alton Towers-ish) addition to the wonderful characters?
