What should happen with the village?

Last week I`ve been to DLRP. Everything was great, except of the village. It looks so cheap and hase a big lack of magic. So what should happen with the village in the future? :?:

I felt like that too, but I'm not sure on how they could improve on it. They have recently refurbed some of it and it is a bit better, I think its because I just don't like the style of the area, hasn't survived the change in the times.
