Hi all

What's usually open during the Extra Magic Hours? The last time we went we stayed off site so didn't get to experience them, but we'll be at the New York in October and as our little gets up early I'm sure we'll use them.

Is the Princess Pavillion open at that time?

Princess Pavilion wasn't open for EMH when we went last summer, but there were people queuing outside from 8am, ready for when it opened at 10am.

It seemed a bit pointless to me, queuing for 2 hours in the hot sun (even that early, it was roasting) to save queuing for less time inside the cool pavilion later - the queues were usually around 90 mins, but I did see it go down to 45 mins once or twice. I guess the advantage is that it's easier for one person to queue outside while the others go on rides and can easily join you just before 10am (easier than joining someone queuing inside.)

I can't remember what was open at that time - we mostly spent EMH in Fantasyland, but I can't remember which rides we went on before / after 10am. Hopefully others will be able to give you a better reply.

No, the Princess Pavillion doesn't open until 10am but you can get in the queue during early magic hours.

There's quite a few characters out and it's a good time to meet them as the queues are shorter.  I think a lot of Fantasyland is open from what I remember and again, those rides tend to be busy during the day so early magic hours is a good time to ride them. 

I'm sure someone else will be along who knows more because fantasyland is all I can remember being open!

Which attractions are open?
No specific attractions are announced as part of Extra Magic Hours and so the list cannot be guaranteed, but the selection at Disneyland Park, always from Fantasyland and Discoveryland, usually comprises:
Dumbo the Flying Elephant
Peter Pan's Flight
Mad Hatter's Tea Cups
Le Carrousel de Lancelot
Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast
Space Mountain: Mission 2
On certain dates, Walt Disney Studios Park takes over Extra Magic Hours duties.
In this case, the whole park is accessible and almost all ride-based attractions are open, usually including at the least: Crush's Coaster, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith, Ratatouille: L'Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy and the attractions of Toy Story Playland.

When I experienced emh last year in disneyland park. Al the atractions stated above where in deed open.
I heard rumours about meet mickey being open but don't know if it is true.

The princess pavilion is closed till ten. But people start queying from 8.

There are however a lot of characters on mainstreet with fairly short queues.

In previous years EMH has only been reduced during peak seasons. Having a look at the opening time calendar, EMH is 0800-1000 right through until end of April
