if it says squid on the menu it HAS to be squid in the dish, otherwise it is against trading standards rules and they could be in trouble. I used to work as a chef and used to compile menus in some of the places I worked at.

Looking at the menus for for The Yacht Club, it looks to me like whats called a fine dining restaurant. The children's menu would reflect the standard of the food served on the adults menu, with just smaller portions.

I wouldn't expect a fine dining restaurant to serve chicken nuggets or burgers on the children's menu.
