Here's a cheeky question - are there any tips for getting anything free - e.g. room upgrades, character meals? We're (me, wife, 2 small children) staying at HNY next June and I was wondering if anyone had ever been able to get anything extra. I'm not going to complain for the sake of it - I AM British after all - and I'm not going to steal half the hotel but I'm sure the management have some leeway on keeping guests happy.

Hi, if its a special occasion,? We upgraded our hotel from s.lodge to new york as a treat for my birthday last year which was in March but went in june. When we went into our room there stitch teddys on each bed one for each of my kids. Plus each night bed turned down and chocolate on pillows then one afternoon walked in to balloons the on bed and a birthday card.. was so pleased had no idea they were going to do that.
