To celebrate the release of Toy Story 3 and Toy Story Playland, Walt Disney Studios will be overtaken by Buzz, Woody and co for Toy Story Mania (not to be confused with ride :P), a very special Toy Story party. The celebration begins in April 2010 with opening of the brand new Toy Story Playland and it's three attractions. Special events include a brand new parade, Block Party Bash. Fresh from two successful years at Disney's Hollywood Studios the Block Party Bash replaces Stars n' Motor Cars at WDS. Due to the size of the park, the show stops are no longer there, but the parade section is much bigger; the floats include Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Monsters Inc, The Incredibles and Ratatouille.

From July 12th to July 18th Disney Village hosts a special Toy Story week, which includes the European premiere of Toy Story 3 on July 16th (with UK release on July 23rd and French release on July 28th). And for one week only Woody, Jessie and Bullseye are special guests at Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show.

Over in Disneyland Park, things are returning back to normal following Mickey's Magical Party. The main street and castle decorations are removed and the castle gets a new coating of paint, returning it to it's former glory. It's Party Time... remains at the Central Plaza Stage due to it's popularity but It's Dance Time... is removed at the end of 2009. In Discoveryland regular Buzz meet n'greet's will take place outside Laser Blast and a new show premieres at the Videoplois. All other attractions are given the maintenance that makes everything look new once again!

Let me be the first to say (cause I know I def. won't be the last), this is the best bit of new I have heard in a long, long time. No more decorations and a spanking new paint job !!!! Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet  =D>  =D>  :D/  :D/  8)

EDIT: Oh I hope there's some kind of competiton to win tickets to the premiere, oh and a day or 2 in the park. That would be super sweeeet (assuming I won of course)

Fantastic ideas, I love how it's been tied in with Toy Story Playland and Toy Story 3, whilst keeping it to a minimum as well. Although I'm not too sure about It's Party Time... remaining, but I can't think of anything else to suggest (apart from removing the stage and bringing back the original Central Plaza :P ).

Well done, and thanks for sharing your ideas =D>

Yeh maybe not It's Party Time... I haven't seen in myself and comments have been very mixed from what I've seen. But I wonder if it will stay beyond MMP? And when are we due another parade at Disneyland Park, does anyone know if we'll see one before the 20th anniversary?

You are confused, very confused.  BPB is nothing without the show stops, that is what it was designed for.  Why remove such a popular parade after only 2 years?  Take Pixar Play Parade because not only is it better, but it is being removed soon anyways.

Sorry I've never been to Orlando.
