Though the excitement is dampened Somewhat since DD is currently struck down with a tummy bug

I hope she recovers by 4am tomorrow morning!!!

Very iffy all day but around 7pm she perked up and had some food before going to bed. Whew. I think we dodged a bullet. Tomorrow will be spent (hopefully) relaxing once we get our room key!

Could it have been her excitement? There are a lot of bugs going round at the moment.
Back in 2013 I fell ill on the day we were travelling, thought I was a bit stiff from a near accident on the way down the day before but no it was glandular fever! Disney was agony but glad I was there.
This time I was worrying that my eldest might not have been able to enjoy it as back in November she dislocated her knee cap on a treadmill & it wasn't diagnosed by our urgent care so been in pain since, took til Feb to get a proper diagnosis & then intense treatment to get her fit enough to travel end of march but she managed it so finger crossed our summer trip will be fine- 81 days for us

THREE!! Finally finished all my shifts, clocked off my study day at half 4 this afternoon and I couldn't be more excited, cannot believe it's come around so fast!

Thanks, she was well enough to enjoy the trip and her birthday. We had a few days interspersed with "aftershocks" so she didn't really eat much while there but she still managed to enjoy herself. Enjoy the countdown to your trip and the trip itself when you go

38!! IM SO EXCITED

12!! Can't wait. We haven't told the girls we're going so as far as they're concerned we're going to France to stay in a caravan!! We're actually staying at Newport Bay. My eldest can read is so I'm sure she'll see signs on the drive down from Dunkirk. Cue plenty of excitement!
