Quote from: "Baloo"I honestly thought Pixar could never make a film I love as much as Toy Story 2. I think they might have...

Pixar have that disney magic which means each and every film is better than the last ;)

OH MY GOD! Is all I can think of saying, it was amazing, even the short was brilliantly imaginative and funny.  Oh Pixar have definitely not lost it, constantly hilarious I think was the overall opinion of a Empire Leicester Square full cinema screen I saw it at :D .  Amazingly the cinema was not even half filled with children, I don't think I noticed more than about 5  .

Along with Indy, Wall.e is up there as the greatest film of the year.  Also Clarabelle nothing else happens at the end of it, we sat and watched all the credits, there wasn't much else you could do on Friday night at that Empire screening.  No one seemed to really move till the final Disney distribution logo :D .  There was even lots of clapping, yes I was even clapping along too at parts, which is sometimes difficult to get me to at a west end musical, let alone a film  .

Finally got to see Wall-E today, and I really enjoyed it. After reading all of the positive reviews for it, I had a very high expectation for it, I'm not sure if it actually fully met my expectations, but I did enjoy it a lot :)  =D>

Hey,

i know I am like a million years behind everyone else but I finally seen WallE today. Just back from the Cinema. Have to say it was much better than I would have thought and I had to stop myself from crying at the end! Really good film with a lot of hidden messages I think! I wondered why people seen WallE as 'cute' but now that I have seen the film I realise why!
Disney rock! :D/

](*,) I cant believe you included Indy in the same breath as Wall-E. Indy has to be the 2nd biggest pile of Hollywood tripe I ever had the misfortune of watching. The first being Twister.
Not that its the worst film ever. It was more a collection of "What 1950's style escapades can we throw at Indy, and how can we slap them together ?" Aliens ? 4 Guards at Area 51? The Waterfalls? Shia and the Monkeys ? There's only one smiley for the job..... [-X

Nope! I disagree!! Yes it was cheesey, yes it was overblown, yes it was too far fetched, but yes it made me smile from start to end, and yes I loved it!

I was a kid when the first three came out, and I took my nephew to see this, he came out as excited as I did all those years ago. Its not meant to be taken to seriously, its a big popcorn movie, and great fun he he

Anyway, back onto topic! :offtopic:

I believe We predicted that date roughly last week Never2Old when I tried to do the traditional Maths of Cinema to Release... We Said 16 weeks as Standard... Working out that before it  INcredibles was 16, Cars 17, and Ratatouille were 18 weeks in the cinema before hitting homes on discs!

Wall-e follows Ratatouille and goes out 18 weeks after first premiering in UK/EU cinemas!

I finally saw WALL-E the other day... and wow, what an amazing film. Its definately my favourite Pixar film I've seen to date and far better than Ratatouille in my books. Its quite refreshing to see beautiful animation combined with a good story, likeable characters and no corny jokes in sight. WALL-E is a winner!  :)
