We saw it last night! it was easily the best film this year, there havent been many that have made me actually go to the cinema (most I decided to wait until the DVD is 3 for £20 in HMV or similar)

Took me an hours drive and no dinner but it was worth it! WALL-E was cuiter than I could ever have imagined! such a well developed character! MO was fantastic! I love MO! and EVE wasnt at all how I was expecting! it was simply AMAZING!!! anyone else think that Pixar are just showing off with the lighter? lol

And what can I say about Presto? I didn't much care for the last Pixar short I am sorry to say, but after Pesto ... well you could say I have forgiven them  :P Well worth the wait, am going back to Norwich tomorrow (if I can wait that long lol) to see it again, it is a masterpiece even by Pixar's standards, even the credits are stunningly beautiful!

Does anyone know if something happens at the end, the Pixar screen comes up again and the Buy and Large logo ... but then the cinema music came on, is there something at the end?? please tell me!  :D

OK Clarebelle, Calm Down! Remember some of us haven't seen it yet... (I'm still one of those for the next 7 hours!)... Great to hear you Loved it, we've had a pretty mixed bag of reviews so far without anyone dropping in the spoiler (Which I appreciate the most)! I'll sit through the credits personally for you see the logos say anything and if they do you'll be one of the first people to know!

And on another note; How can you not care about the Pixar Shorts, Lifted was passionately awesome and the Use of the Shorts for Pixar studios are to give up and coming artists, animators, writers etc... fresh from Graduating time to perfect their craft and have it rewarded on either the DVD or On the Silver Screen before Lasseter, Stanton and Bird say "you, your coming with me... Time to work on the Big Stage". I love all the shorts, some more than others, but lifted was ingenious and got me prepared for WALL-E with the concepts of Space being highlighted! OK Rant Over... I'm Sorry

For the last 2 hours and 25 minutes I have done nothing but giggle at both the short and aspects of the movie... cry as I wasn't expecting that sort of denumont, explain where the term WALL-E comes from the Reason and origins along with references to Hamm, Rex, the Pizza Planet and A-113 and most importantly beg an usher for her T Shirt (It was a I <3 NY styled... I <3 WALL-E one... Which if someone can get one for me It would be greatly appreciated...)

For those who haven't seen it its awesome the curse of the Ninth Movie has failed this little bot go see what Stanton has given you... for those who have and didn't enjoy I feel sorry for you as you now meet the bad books of the Captain!

We're coming down to the ground
There's No better place to go
We got snow upon the mountains
We got rivers down below,
We're coming down to the ground
We hear the Birds sing in the trees
And the land will be looked after
We send the seeds out in the Breeze

Me and my uncle (both big disney movie fans) loved it ^-^

(i think they have a new powerful CPU farm, they seem to of left the confined spaces and are onto big open worlds (for cars and wall-e anyways)... interesting...)

[spoiler:5n2sunqp]Really ? i thought it was better than ratatouille O.o[/spoiler:5n2sunqp]

just saw the movie.... Wow! Visualy it is increible. It's not live action, but then again it's not animation as we usually know. It's like a hyper real version of reality.

Plot & and story wise I can see why some people have struggled with it. I personaly loved it, but my other half, who loved the characterization of Wall.E, found the film a bit weird.... Me, I just got totaly lost in it, and an hour or two later wanted to see if again. I also think anyone that struggled slighty with it would love it after a second viewing, knowing what to expect. I kinda think the adverts portray it as a slightly different film than it is. But what they do show, and what makes it such a specail film is wall.e himself. Just fantastic!

I've been planning to write a full review for DLRP Today at some point, but I'll just chip in here and say I thought WALL-E was an absolute masterpiece. You know I've been waiting for it for months, posting every bit of news here, so I was a little worried what I would actually think -- especially the second half which I'd heard wasn't as strong.

Well, I saw it first thing on Friday and again yesterday, I've been listening to the soundtrack non-stop and I'm desperate to see it again. It just doesn't get boring, it's thrilling and entertaining and beautiful to watch. And it'll be just as good in 10, 20, 50 years.

You can tell already it's a classic. I could easily put it on the same shelf as Lady and the Tramp, Dumbo, Pinocchio, any of them. Maybe even a higher shelf. I'd go as far as saying it's Pixar's best film. As I read in one review -- "one day, there will be entire university courses built around this film".

I honestly thought Pixar could never make a film I love as much as Toy Story 2. I think they might have...
