It's really hard to tell from the outside but whilst I was looking at the vessel yesterday, I could hear the sounds of workmen actually doing something! When I saw someone with some tools in his hand I tried to take a photo, but he disapeared as soon as he saw my camera! I am sure the workmen must have been told to maintain a low profile in case we all get over excited!!

I think even if it is finished in March, they will wait till the 20th anniversary in April to show it to the public.

Maybe we're causing the delay because the workmen are camera shy and we keep taking photos. :P

The one worker presumably given this job seems to be getting nearer a finish  ;)

We now have our date of completion: the 24th of this month! (Which is apparently the date that three other big projects will be completed. Any ideas what they could be? Central Plaza?)

Also, the sails and other features are back!

Looks like they aren't putting black sails (black-pearl-style) as suggested by some rumors.

Sorry, if this was questioned already, but does anybody know, whether you will be allowed to "board" Captain Hook's Pirate Ship when it's refurbished or will it only be used as background for the Peter-Pan-Show?

Josh

I should think you'll be able to go on it, yeah. But they've never mentioned it. :)

It won't be used for the Peter Pan show, though. Sadly, it had its last show a couple of days ago. :(

I'm really looking forward to see the ship again (hopefully in July!!)- refurbished and without fences or anything.

@insidedlparis is reporting that all the masking has come down, the ship is now visible, although still surrounded by scaffolding.

Can I just say, a big thank you to @insidedlparis for all the information and I would advise everybody to follow their twitter account!
enjoy yourself, it\'s later than you think!
