Hmmm... tacky, yes... but I think it looks better than it did before.  It looks like more of a Disney castle now, even if it does look like it was produced simply to fit into the "Year of the million dreams" princessy stuff.  I'm not sure what to think, the old white castle did have its charms.

I think Tokyo needed an upgrade, you could hardly tell any different between it and MK's castle.  Also in Tokyo it did sometimes to look no different to the colour of the sky such as white and after all that's the reason it was not chosen for Paris, it's nice to see a change and really I welcome it, definately looks better and also adds that little extra magic :) .

I really like the new colors at their Cinderella Castle. I don't think its tacky, its rather classy in my opinion. Not over the top, its still recognisible the same castle, but in has got a warmer feel over it. Really posh. Now no Disney castle in the world is exactly the same... :)

Well, Tokyo hasn't overdone it (which they usually are quite good at...) with their castle - unlike WDW...  :?
