A German tourist was arrested at Disney World, because he made a joke about a bomb in his bag. Really stupid!!!

Agreed.  No matter where you are, whether it's an airport, theme park or whatever you never, ever joke about something like that, especially because of what has happened in the past.  I was reading this on another forum and there are people wondering why he was arrested, this though explains why better than i ever could;

It is like the "Boy Who Cried Wolf" if you let people get away with joking about it more people will do it and then when someone is serious no one will believe them and people will get hurt.

I bet thats the most expensive joke he has ever made!!

why on earth would you say it at a security check and then when reasked actually repeat it!!!! You would at least go "oh my god no I was only joking sorry", you wouldn't go "I said I have two bombs in my bag"!!! :roll:  :roll:  :roll:

Plus does he not realise what country he is in and how they are on constant terrorist fears!!

Well he will certainly remember his Disney world visit or almost visit! :roll:
