I got an e-mail today from Jennifer of LLS who asked me to put something online about the marathon their organisation is putting together:

I work at The Leukemia & Lyphoma Society (LLS) in the Team In Training deparmtent.  We are the largest fundraising are of LLS.  We have professional coaches who train participants to complete endurance events (marathons, triathlons, century rides and hikes); in return, the participants raise money for blood cancer research, patient aid and education programs.  

We are currently recruiting people in the Orange County/Inland Empire area of California to join our Walt Disney World Marathon training.  I was wondering if you might be able to post a message about it here to help us recruit people who already love Disneyland and Disney World.  Thank you so much for your time.

An absolutly amazing idea for an amazing cause. It would be nice if DLRP could start a half marathon or something in the hope that a simular fundraising event could take place
