You might want to have a look at this page on DLRP Magic: http://www.dlrpmagic.com/cdarchive/cds/ ... usique.htm and have a listen to the sample music. From the "do", it may be number 2, Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah.

Hope that helps.

Hi, If you have iTunes or any other music browsing application/website just search Rick Benjamin and the Paragon Ragtime Orchestra. Their music are the main ones used in Main Street USA but if not just say as I have another few of main street not performed by them which may be the one and I could direct you to them on a website where you could purchase them.

Tis my favorite music ' however I'm cutting down on listening to it so it's more special when I go.

I get that. If u listen to it too much the magic sorta dissapears. When in PM last summer I knew every word on the ride, every not in the music, and some of the magic had dissapeared. On the other hand I was the only one on the ride who could sing along to Grim Grinning Ghosts. LOL.

And about the mainstreet music, my advice is to not try to get it but just enjoy it when ur in the park. It really is more magical. :)

As someone else said, you might want to check out the 2 albums by Rick Benjamin & The  Paragon Ragtime Orchestra: The Whistler And His Dog, and On The Boardwalk. They're both on the UK iTunes Store:

The Whistler And His Dog (£7.99)
http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZSt ... 1&s=143444

On The Boardwalk (£7.99)
http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZSt ... 7&s=143444

A cool way of identifying music when you're in the parks is using Shazam. They have a free iPhone app that allows you to "tag" the song you're hearing, and then actually go over to the iTunes Store and purchase it, all on your phone.

But you can just use their regular paid for service, by dialling 2580 on your mobile, while in the parks :-)

Of course, the app requires an internet connection, so be prepared to shell out for those roaming charges! ;)
(unless you're lucky enough to have a French iPhone, I guess)

You can listen to the entire US parks Main Street music loop at http://www.mouseinfo.com/cms/radio/.  Scroll down to Main Street bgm (background music).

One of the things that differentiates the DLP Main Street music loop from other Magic Kingdoms is the selection of tunes from the movie "Ragtime" written by Randy Newman.  These include the aforementioned "Club Clef #2" along with "Train Ride", "Delmonico Polka", "Atlantic City", "Club Clef #1" and, best of all, "I Could Love a Million Girls", which also features at the other MKs.  You can buy this excellent soundtrack at:

  http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ragtime-Expande ... 187&sr=1-1

You'll notice the US parks loop include some tunes you won't hear at DLP.   These include numbers from the musicals "Hello Dolly" (which you'll recognise from "Wall E"), "Oklahoma" and "The Music Man".

Another tune that always reminds me of DLP Main Street, because I haven't heard it anywhere else, is the "Birdbrain Rag" by Joseph Lamb.  The version at DLP, which I can't find anywhere, is played by a string quartet.  I've found this video of it being played on the piano. See if you recognise it:

These links are fantastic! I'm a big fan of Main Street USA music and always has me longing to go to Disneyland. I'm really happy that I'm able to listen to Main Street music now during my work. Really soothing ;)

Thanx!
