Great news from Disneyland Paris. Alain Littaye, the author of the book "From sketch to reality 'has made some revelations about the future of Disneyland Resort Paris.

The man has great and reliable sources both within the Walt Disney Company and within EuroDisney SCA He also says that these rumors are more than just rumors. Announcements would be made this year or early next year at the annual shareholders' meeting.

The plans are at least huge example. Both the two parks, as Disney village as the hotels get extensions. A short list of the novelties.

Walt Disney Studios
* The long-awaited expansion of the Studio Tram Tour. The station would be moved out backwards so as to make way for a long Hollywood Boulevard. Moreover, there is an additional scene added. Pearl Harbor but not a scene from Pirates of the Caribbean.

* Toy Story Mania would be built in the studios. Unfortunately, this to the detriment of Soarin. About the possible cancellation of Soarin is still no word but since TSM soarin on the planned location would do so little positive presumption.

* Three small children's attractions would be built in the Show studio, which will also be increased. It would go to carnival-like attractions, such as Rally Race Cars and The magic carpets. There were plans for an octopus-like attraction around the incredibles (stretch woman).

* In honor of the 10th anniversary of the studios and the 20 anniversary of the resort get the studios an E-ticket attraction being Ratatouille. This dark ride would take you as a small rat through a huge kitchen.


Disneyland Park
* The Little Mermaid attraction, then, is to Fantasy Land. It would be built behind the station. This would be the current Theater demolished.

* A new theater would be built on the road between it's a small world and DICO Very Country.

* Star tours will have a new version. The location and infrastructure are maintained.

* In honor of EHT 20jarig existence, the park next to the Little Mermaid still an E-ticket attraction. There are still discussions about which it is between Indiana Jones Adventure and Splash Mountain.


Disney village
* The village will, as already announced official, a Starbucks restaurant. There is also a new sandwich and the long-awaited World of Disney store opens.


Disney Hotels
* Either get extensions either existing hotels, two new hotels built. The cost savings associated with option 1 would have a preference for new wings at the Disneyland Hotel and lodge sequoia. The second option would continue as next bullet is effectively implemented.

* The F1 circuit is effective in Disneyland Paris resort built! And closer than expected. The circuit would still lie within the ring and a few of the newport bay club hotel. There are also two new hotels built. The F1 circuit is a temporary solution which by 2020 should give way to the third park.

Walt Disney Company
The rumor that Disney would launch a fat check at Euro Disneuy and already circulated months would be true. Disney would have realized that the only way to the resort erbovenop to help new attractions. Its effect is not missed last 2 years, but there should be innovations continue to attract guests to stay. A Disney insider confirmed that a check of between 500-800 million dollars to unsubscribe to Eurodisney for the construction of new attractions and facilities.


UPDATE On the F1 circuit. In the magazine 'Backstays' (the magazine for cast members) is the same drawing to find. It would be a proposal to go. I'm sure this got announced as being cancelled a few days ago. I was listening to what he had to say until then, if the same sources gave him that info as the F1 info they musn't be very reliable. In fact, here is some of the article proving it.

The future of the French Grand Prix has been plunged into chaos after it has been revealed that Euro Disney – the leading alternative to host the race following Magny-Cours' disappearance – has withdrawn its bid.

They are only rumours and I will treat them as rumours until I see the press release from DLRP. Saying that we should have some sort of confirmation about 2010 in the next year (Alton Towers' plans for 2010 were announced months ago)

It all seems very expensive building a huge race track for a few years and then tearing it down, total waste of money. In fact, here is some of the article proving it.

It´s very old "news" and some of them aren´t on the right track. Seems that Alain get some not soooo strong reallllly reallly real true rumours.

The F1 circuit died, this carnival-like attractions are the "Toy Story Land"-Thing (and no strechwoman in sight!), the locations for a hotel extensions are a bit .... let´s say unbelievable (esp. the disneyland hotel which would mean the guests would have the great look at the ugly back of crush), for a theater rebuild the area behind the festival stage is a "stronger" rumour etc.etc.etc.

The other rumours are in serval topics at this forum. Some could be true some not. I´ve heard Mermaid could come, with the forest cutting Ratatouille, Toy Story Land and a Tram reroute (without a big expansion like Pearl Habour) should get their way and the BTC at Disney village should close in january to make place for the starbucks.

But nothing really new here, sorry
