I have started posting this TR on the other Disney forum i visit but i thought it be nice to share it with everyone here aswell Hope you all enjoy and it doesnt get too boring.  Updates will follow.

The Cast:

Me- Emma or Mummy on this trip (25); I suffer from Disney OCD and Tink is my all time favourite Disney character, with Stitch a close second.
DD- Kyra or Baba (2); Loves the Princesses and Minnie.  Favourite ride before we left was Dumbo.
DB-Chris my wonderful *cough* brother(27); he has the idea that Christopher Robin was based on him.
DFSIS-Lynn the soon to be "Sister In Law"(28); Likes rollercoasters and rides in the dark.

We got up, well lets be frank... I got up at 4am, got showered and dressed and checked everything was packed.

I was excited but wasn't able to show it in fear of looking sad in the eyes of my brothers gf.   :twisted:
(You will find how much I "dislike" her in this trippy as I feel I need to have a little vent about her)

Anyway, I woke DD up at 6am and got her fed, dressed etc...little did I know this was probably her breakfast today was going to practically all she ate all week.  We left around 7ish and arrived at Ashford to find out our train was scheduled to leave at 9.50am instead of 9.38am.  This was due to the previous fire in the channel tunnel.  I was prepared for this small delay so it didn't bother me too much.

Kyra in the car on the way to the station, she was not in a photo taking mood.



While waiting for the train, DD played in the kids area while I went and bought up the whole newsagents:lmao: .  I took Kyra to the toilet before we boarded the train when i heard one mother screaming at her son, to be honest i was shocked she was threatening him with all sorts. Not sure what he had done but nothing can be THAT bad.

At 9.35ish we was able to make our way to the platform to board the train, we was sat in coach 18 seats 61,65 and 66.  This was the family area and it was packed,  I hadn't got Kyra a seat so she was planning on sitting on my lap, I did hope no one was sitting in the seat next to me but sadly someone was so DD was not impressed that she had to sit on my lap the whole journey.

We arrived 45 mins later than planned, which in all honesty was really good considering and i kick myself for all that worrying that the train was going to be cancelled or furthermore hours and hours late.

Soon after we got off the train, we heard "Just like we dreamed it": playing in the station, Kyra was happily singing along and I was feeling that magial feeling.  I couldn't wait untill we got to the parks.

But first after a toilet stop in the station we went and boarded our bus to the Hotel Cheyenne.....

Ok so where was we?

Yes, I remember on our way to the hotel.

I choose the Cheyenne, as it was in line with my budget and looked like a fun place to stay.

A bit of info for those who have never stayed at the Cheyenne, Its based on a cowboy theme and the rooms are in little motels, its like a scene from the wild west.  I loved it and would recommend staying here to anyone with children and even those without.

A lovely CM called Sylvie checked us in and changed our meal reservations, I had decided to eat at Cafe Mickey that evening.  I also changed our dining time for Inventions for the Wednesday to eat at 7.30pm instead of 6.30pm.

Our room the furthest away from reception, which at first I was bit disapointed about but in the end wasn't too bothered.  We was in the Calamity Jane block, room 6424.  The room was big enough and I loved the theming.  I had top bunk while Kyra had the lower bunk.  The beds are so comfy.





After dumping our luggage and freshened up we headed back to the bus stop to catch the bus to the parks.







When we got to Disneyland Park it was around 3ish and we stopped into the Emporium to pick up some Stitch and Minnie ears, We heard the character express from inside so after dashing to pay for our items we ran outside to watch, sadly the 3pm train doesnt stop in Central Plaza due to the parade at 4pm.  But me and Kyra had a little boogie and followed the train with the rope.

My Brother and his GF started moaning that they was hungry (they made sandwichs on the train but didn't eat them) and wanted to go and eat somewhere.
 We went to (I can't remember the name but its the counter service near Peter Pan's Flight) but by the time they had gotten there food it was just past 3.30 and i informed them I was going to watch the parade and to come and find me when they was finished.  

This clearly put Lynn's nose out of joint, but i had a schedule and i was sticking to it.  

On the way round to the parade route we bumped into Stitch! He was in a rush and I think he was making a way to a CM exit but Kyra did get a photo with him but she wasn't looking at the camera (damn!)  Luckily this was not going to be our only encounter with Stitch.



Now i had wanted to watch the Princess stop at the parade but was disapointed to find that only Aladdin and Jasmine got off to dance where we was standing. But i soon got over my disapointment because i really do love the "Once Upon A Dream" Parade.  
My brother and his gf managed to find us just before the parade started so they got to see it aswell, but little did I know this was another moan of many, my brother said the song was going to do his head in all week and Lynn claimed it was not what she was expecting and thought it was a bit dull.

I'm not sure what she was expecting but to me it over does my expectations, I love everything about the parade.







I made a mental note to ditch them for large gaps during the days throughout the week, I didn't need them to try and burst my Disney bubble.

We then went on Its a Small World, and DD loved it and I loved it.  Really reminded me why this was my favourite ride in WDW.

Another groan came from camp so i suggested we pop to the studios and go on ToT before we went back to the hotel for a rest and a shower to get ready for dinner.

We made it to the Studios for 5ish and ToT only had a queue for 5mins so I took Lynn on that while my Brother went for a walk with Kyra.



We had a really scary CM which made the ride even better, we sat at the front of the lift and i swear i went so far off my seat i thought i was going to fly out the evelator shaft lol.
When the ride stopped i screamed "OH MY GOD" and the CM started making fun of me lol, I love ToT and was lucky i was able to get a few rides in on this trip.

My brother and Lynn went on RnRC while i waited at the exited for baby swap,  I then went on the ride with my brother and he loved it.  We then saw Stitch Live! was started in 10mins so we went over to that and it was really funny, and Chris and Lynn was very impressed with the way it was done.



We then made our way back to the hotel for a little restbite as the Studios was drawing to a close.

Day 1 part three.

I booked our table for 8.30pm for Cafe Mickey and we when we arrived the place was heaving.

We was seated after about a 10min wait, which yet again didn't impress Chris and Lynn.

I guess its true when they say you can't please everyone.:rolleyes1

Me and my Brother had the Pluto steak which was very nice, but a bit chewy.
Lynn had some pasta dish, not sure what though as I wasn't paying attention and Kyra had nuggets and chips.



The menu had changed slighty for the kids since April, Kyras food came like a nugget kebab. Lets just say she ate a few chips and that was about it.  Also the dessert is now a buffet for the kids which i thought was rather good.

We Saw Mickey, Goofy, Gepetto, Smee, Eeyore, Rafikie (Sp) and Sheriff of Nottingham.




I ordered a cake for Kyra as her Birthday is only 4 weeks away and I want to say thanks to the CM he was great, I asked him he could make sure that the Sheriff of Nott. didn't bring the cake over as the second she saw him her face when from happy to shock to tears.  She did not like him.

So he brought over Smee and Rafikie, and got Kyra on the chair and everyone was singing and clapping Happy Birthday which was lovley.







Overall, it wasn't the best meal I have had at Cafe Mickey.  I think its because we booked a bit later to eat.



We got to bed about 11.30 after passing through the village and browsing in some shops.

Day 2 part 1

I woke up at 7.15am and got ready in a mad rush as I wanted to make EMH in good time.

Chris and Lynn decided to stay in bed (this was a occuring thing with them) so it was just me and Kyra.  

I had booked lunch for Auberge de Cendrillion for 12 today so Kyra wanted to wear her Belle dress.

I arranged to meet DB and FSIL at 10am in Main Street as i asked them to bring the pushchair with them.

First we had to stop off for a photo with Goofy at our hotel, Kyra was very excited and she looked like such a little princess.





We made it to the park for just after 8am and we managed Pinocchio, Dumbo, teacups and Carousel de Lancelot.  I think we went on Pinocchio twice in a row.




We then went to have to some breakfast about 9.30am from the Cable Car cookie shop where i had a cookie and Kyra wanted a doughnut, not exactly healthy but i was hoping Kyra would be hungry so she would eat all her lunch in the Auberge.

Little did I know the reason she was hardly eating was because she had a funny tummy.



We met Chris and Lynn at 10am where i said i wanted to take Kyra to meet Winnie the Pooh.  I said we'd only be 10 mins as the queue was really short when Lynn complained that she wasnt hanging around to meet a man in a suit.  



I asked her to refrain from saying that around Kyra as I don't want the magic ruined for her or other children.

So i then told them i would meet them at 4.30pm in Main Street as me and Kyra was going to go off and do our own thing.  

We queued up and meet her beloved Pooh Bear.  This trip Kyra got into getting autographs.




After we saw Pooh bear we muddled around and popped into Frontier Land where the Halloween decs were up, DD was scared of the pumpkin men so that has kind of halted any trips for Halloween.



I  then did some window shopping.  I had spied a few things i wanted to get Kyra for Christmas.  Then we had a quick ride on Its a Small World.



I also did my 1st pin trade and i was very excited about it.  I managed to trade 20 pins on my whole trip and was even approaced by 2 CM's to trade.  

Kyra was fasinated with Cinderella's carriage in the patio area of the Auberge, i must admit i was too, it was very pretty.



It was soon coming around to 12 so we went and waited outside the Auberge for it to open.  Kyra was really excited about seeing the Princesses and i was hoping that Belle would make a apperance.

Coming up next meeting the Princesses and would i actually like the food at Auberge de Cendrillion

So here we are, the Auberge de Cendrillion.

The restuarant where you can wine and dine with the Princesses and maybe not eat the food.

I really don't think the menu describes the food well enough as if im honest i looked at the menu and did worry.



The food didnt sound like anything i would ever eat let alone DD would touch.  Someone had to eat the food it was costing me 75Euros for this meal.

We got called in at 12 and Kyra was the first to meet Cinderella, which just before we was seated Cinderella told me she thought Kyra was beautiful.  I thought that was really nice.




We was sat away from the dance floor but i need not of worried about that.

As soon as we entered Suzy and Perla came over and we had photos and they signed Kyra's book.




It wasnt long till we heard the clock strike and Suzy came and got Kyra and took her and some other little princesses over to the dance floor to see Aurora and Prince Philip dance which was ever so good.



We was then given our drinks I had the Prince cocktail and it was really nice.  I think Kyra had one or something similar.  Kyra then met Aurora and Philip and i found that Aurora didnt seem to interact well with Kyra it was like she couldn't be bothered.  Philip was lovely though.



Soon after Belle arrived and Kyra got so excited and i was so happy as i have read that she isnt always in the restuarant.  Kyra gave her a big hug and Belle was so sweet with her and was really into her role by calling Kyra princess and did she like reading and she thought it was adorable when Kyra asked for "beautiful beast"



Our Main courses arrived and mine was a rack of lamb with potato and veg and oh my it was to die for.




Kyra took one bite of hers and said it was yuck and didnt like it, which was pretty much i expected.  But rather then let it go to waste i gobbled that down aswell.  I thought it was lovely.

Ariel then made a appearance and she was really nice and spoke with Kyra and signed her book.



Kyra made friends with the little girl sitting next to us, she was 4 and from Ireland and her and Kyra was dancing together round the tables it was so cute.



We had our desserts and i ate most of mine, it was a small chocolate type cheesecake thing and some ice cream sorbet the other thing looked gross so i didnt touch that.





Kyra didnt eat hers, and when i took a bit from her Cinderella's slipper she started crying say i broke Cinderella's slipper...luckily the lady with the girl who Kyra had become friends with gave her hers.  

Kyra was upset we had to leave and had a photo with Belle on the way out, its a shame Kyra looks miserable in it but oh well lol.



We left about 2pm so we then decided it was time for Small World again and again....and again lol.

At about 3pm we left to go and have a drink in the DLH to get ready for the little character parade in there at 4pm...





My camera seemed to play up during this meal so i didnt get that many great photos

Day 2 part 3

I'm trying to remember where we left off....Oh yes we had just eat at the Auberge de Cendrillion.

Kyra had asked to go back on Its a Small World so we had a quick ride on that.



We saw that the  Snow White ride didn't have any wait so walked onto that,  Kyra didn't like the old hag and proceeded to cover her eyes half way round the ride.  But she loved seeing the 2 Dwarfs.

I then decided we should go and see if Casey Jnr was open and it wasnt. Boohoo.

But what soon made up for that dissapointment was the fact we saw some characters near Dumbo.
 
Kyra had photos with Rabbit, Pigleyt (Kyra squealed with joy when she saw him) Minne and Stitch, Friar Tuck was around aswell.

I want to add that from our previous trips the character scrums seem more organised, the characters kept making sure all the children kept there distance and called/motioned each child up at a time making sure everyone waited there turn. There was a odd occasion where children didnt listen and ended up being ignored but i can say Kyra never got pushed out the way once.






After a quick photocall i needed a sit down so we went for a nose around the DLH.  I knew they would be characters in the lobby at 4pm and it was just after 3pm so we had a nice drink in Fantasia Bar and chilled out for a while.



4Euros for a orange juice....shocking.  Kyra loved singing along to the music, we heard Gummi Bears and the french version of Duck Tales.

After our drink we went down to the lobby and waited about 10mins when suddenly some music started and a selection fo characters appeared on the 1st and 2nd floor.  



There was Goofy, Minnie, Mickey, Launchpad and Tigger.  They came down and took all the children in a circle and danced with them to a selection of DLRP songs, it was great fun.  (I have a video of this which i will upload later)



I would highly recommened this to anyone with children, there was no scrum and the characters all had fun and got up to mischief.





This has to be one of my favourite photos of Kyra and Minnie.



We had so much fun we went back another 2 times during the week.

It was soon nearly 4.30 so after the character fun had ended we went to meet Lynn and Chris.

Day 2 part 4. (Sorry not many photos in this section)

So we had just been and had fun in the DLH where we then had to go meet my Brother and FSIS in Main Street at 4.30pm

Little had i forgot that the parade was just making its way round the beginning of Main Street USA, so it was rather packed.

It gave me and DD another opportunity to watch though while we waited to see if my brother could find us.

They soon found us after the parade had finished, where i spotted 2 park passes on the floor, i motioned for my brother to pick them us as we could use them for extra FP's.  I looked at the back and realised that they was a 3 day pass and still had 2 days left on them

Well I know some people may of taken them and kept them for themselves but i went and handed them into City Hall.  If that had happened to me i would hope someone would do the same.

So we then decided to hop, skip and jump to the studios as i wanted to see what the queue time was like for Crush.

It was only 25mins..wow i thought and i asked the CM at the exit about Baby Swap while Chris and Lynn joined the queue.  The CM said to wait at the exit then go down when they come off the ride, didnt need a ticket or anything.



While waiting for the baby swap i noticed this little fella hiding between the rocks!



Little did we know that when i went in for baby swap Chris and Lynn was meant to inform the CM just before they got on the ride.  I then had to prove that i had been waiting with my Daughter at the exit and not trying to queue jump.  At first the CM (they had changed over shifts from when i first asked about baby swap) didn't seem to convinced so i had to march him over and point out that yes that is my Daugher in the Belle dress with my brother and did he want to see her passport.  He said no, i think he got the message.  

Finally after that hoo ha, i was on the ride.  I sat backwards in the shell and it was alot better than sitting in the front of the shell.

After crush me and Lynn went on ToT and i was naughty and took the photo of the photo (We are bottom right hand corner)



We also caught the last showing of Animagique where we got seats right at the front in the centre and I think this was one of the only things that impressed my brother, he said it was really cool lol.

The park was coming to a close and it was too late to pop into watch Candlebration so me and Kyra went back to the hotel for a early night while Chris and Lynn went and ate in Annettes.

I want to add that Crush's Coaster was a max 25min wait whenever i went to the Studios, not sure if it was longer in the morning, but I always seem to pass it around the 5pm mark and never saw it rise to over 25mins.
