Well Jen loves it, and she is over the moon with the pre-drawing, I have to agree, I can see how the tiara and the hair would have took ages.....

This got me thinking, imagine doing a 2d animation sequence, which could be up to say 35 frames per second, if one drawing can take 9 hours to do...Quite frightening really if computers hadn't been invented :shock:  :shock:

It really makes you appreciate the artists that animated Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, since this was all by hand. =D>

Yeah it's amazing plus, with one off drawings you dont have to make sure everything is the same size in a second drawing ...if that makes sense.
They truly are spectacular artists

That's why I'd rather struggle with the technology and Work for Pixar... or be the nasty old guy that makes you draw a character to my specifications as either Writer or Director  :mrgreen:

I just can't believe how quickly this is growing... we really do need a section for artwork because every time I come on I have to go through so many pages just to see each picture, it would be great to have somewhere to make a new thread for each piece of artwork. Would be easier to comment on each person's stuff. I wonder how we might go about asking for one or something?Anyone?Or is that not possible.

I have animated by hand a film which was about 2 minutes long and had nothing close to the frames per second they use in the movies, and found that that was painstaking and took forever... and it didn't even look that good LOL... yes it does make you stop in awe, the hand-drawn animation. I can't wait to see the Frog Princess(name?). . .

And I can't wait to go to college for this stuff  :roll:

Just to let everyone know i bought Captain Pan a scetch pad today so he can get back to drawing (on a4 which he preferes)! and im sure he'll have some more pictures for you very soon!

Yeah I am/was, I've just finished a 2 year National Diploma in Fine Art with an Alevel in Photography  :mrgreen:

Righty oh.. I have a new sketch pad and my arms have been blistering all day and have resulted in 8 sketches... and after rolling the dice in our lovely chat box Darby, Alice, Aurora, Tarzan, Genie, Snow White and Pooh have all given way thanks to breeno's idea... and here was the lucky one selected




Anyone want a specific one out of there posted next... you have till 7am GMT to post thier name after your main text... If I get no reply someone in chatbox will be rolling a dice for me!  :wink:
