Quote from: "burntsienna"I'm using Photoshop CS2, but I wish i could get that consistancy with paint
It's quite difficult for me to do though, as I don't own a graphics tablet...so I'm actually using the mouse haha, but I'm getting used to it and its becoming easier the more I try

Though I do think that Watercolours would be good at creating a similar gradiant change, and Oils too - but they take aaages to dry [and sometimes smell funny]
It's funny that, I was just about to edit my previous post after studying the image, I thought 'Photoshop', since I know you mentioned it earlier on in a post, that was the other possibility.  :D  So it was...  Still using a mouse for that sort of colouring work is not that easy, I know from experience...  :D

By the way, all are uploaded to the gallery...  :D

Haha yeah it's not the easiest but with most things the more you do it the easier it becomes
I shall begin posting comments for them all, as soon as I've finished Snow White. Though I think this one could take a large amount of time, so I may end up taking a break from it to write some comments

I've got a rough outline of Snow White done now, but I just need to go do the washing up and drying and hoover haha
So I should hopefully have the darker outline and her colouring started by 10:15ish...

I think I've hit some adrenaline haha I've been up now for well over 24 hours now without sleep and I'm not feeling tired...
Though now I've said that I'll probably fall asleep while doing the washing up!

Haha well I successfully didn't fall asleep!
Haha I'm sure it would be fun! I sort my room out atleast once a week haha I love it!
Starting to re-paint it soon too, finally taken down the millions of photographs of my friend from my last Photography project haha!
The sleep will suddenly hit me...I'll be talking on here, and I'll just go down and send loads of gobbledy gook! haha

Here's Snow White before colouring

Sadly I miss calculated the width of the dress with her positioning so part of it wouldn't fit...but she's all there

I think I'll wait to comment on your SNow White Until after you have completed the  aforementioned colour right now Burntsienna... although that snow white is fantastic...

Now with out a Propper Sketchpad... I managed to come up with this...

A Pants Human... like all my humans are... But this time in the form of Prince Edward...

Thanks for the confidence booster, but to me there's still something wrong with my humans with this one his jaw looks too big to me...

My humans are no where as near as good as my animals, thats why apart from Pan, Hook and Tinks... and unless I PM him now, Javey hasn't put any of my latest humans on the Art of Animation gallery he's developed  because I feel class wise these aren't my best!

Snow White is AMAZING... now I seriously think my humans are useless...

Well I think his jaws perfect, it's meant to be strong and chissled, that's kind of the 'traidmark' of prince charming's other than their perfect hair etc

NOO, noo they're fully not! They are amazing!!! You shouldn't critisize your work so much because it's extraordinarily fantastic!
And I know all artists do tend to see more of the negative aspects of their work, and judge it too harshly, cause I'm the same, there's always something that could have been better etc.

I love your work and I think its brilliant

If I might make a suggestion. I dont think there's anything wrong with the jawline. I think its the angle of his hair that's slighty off. Its kinda like an optical illusion, it pulls the eyes along a differnt plane from the rest of the face.

But please dont think I'm critising, your drawing is 1000 times better than anything I could ever do :)

Well thanks for all your brilliant work, I keep adding it to the galleries..I've noticed when artists say, "you can tell an artists work through there style", I can see where they are coming from now, I can see a pattern emerging.... :D

Jen likes your Prince Edward there Captain Pan, Enchanted is becoming another of her favourite films... :D

As for burnsienna, Jen and myself can't thank you enough for doing our requests, PMs just never seem to be enough...  :D

I must admit, I love the technical discussion as well by Pete's Dragon...It's always nice to hear different aspects for drawing, how things look to the eye...  :D

I think Mickey would agree here....

First the sketch, then add a little colour>>
