I can't see any major castle decorations for the 20th happening. Apparently Entertainment aren't allowed to touch the castle without going through WDI now anyway, so presumably she's safe from any 2009-style incidents.

New  color of the castle looks so...weird. It is like the water leak from  the ground to the walls. Maybe in real not so weird...  :shock:  :?

I would like to see the trees too, when viewing older videos, the trees add something to the landscape.

However, the blue for the castle tops looks a little too blue, it contrasts too much with the pink.  Although, I bet it looks beautiful IRL.

I can't wait to see. I hope it's done before July.

Blue color is fine, but different color up and down on facade looks like very old color faded with of the sun

am i right in thinking all of the red dots on the park map are the new photolocations and also some rehabs. because there is one at orbitron and the pirate ship, places where there are no photolocations. also, why is big thunder and the theatre at the back of fantasyland red? any help?

All the red bits are areas that are getting rehab'd. Big Thunder is getting repainted, Orbitron is getting fixed so it spins properly again, they're replacing the floor outside the Fantasy festival stage, Colonel Haithi's is getting a face lift and the facade rehabs on Main Street etc.

thanks. that is a lot of work. are they repainting all of big thunder? surely that would take at least a month.

I love the new pinks, I really do, but that blue takes some getting used to. That's some bright turquoise on those two biggest towers. But even on a scale model it's already better than those gradients.

As for the color of the water or the amount of trees, please realize that this is a 20-year old model, folks.

Also, what are those retro posters three minutes into the video? Intriguing.

Funny, that's exactly what Peggie Fariss said when someone at the meeting questioned whether the railings would be removed or something... "All we did was paint it, it's just to show the paint colours".

The blues do look strange there. I'm sure they didn't stand out that much on the flat artwork.

Sadly not that exciting. They've been created for the new Storybook Circus in Florida's Fantasyland but are now also going to be featured on the ends of display units in the revamped Disney & Co. shop in Paris (while of course our centrepiece organ gets taken over to Florida to feature somewhere in that area).

The coverings are meant to come down in June and the rest will be done via an elevating work platform, IIRC.

I wasn't too sure about the blue on the model, but in real life it is stunning.  /
