well i have been wondering what could happen if disney decide too make a pirates of the caribbean 4 and what would the story be andwas wondering what everone thought

I thought that maybe jack sails too the fountain Of Youth (Agua de Vida) too become imortal and then some how captures the black pearl back from barbossa. also Will returns from the 10 years of being bound too the dutchman and teams up with Jack and Elizabeth too over come something thats gaurding the fountain Of youth

Probably should label this thread with spoilers for those who haven't seen Pirates 3.

Barbossa wants to go to find the Fountain of Youth but needs the rest of the map, but Jack Sparrow has that. Queue the return of Jack and Mr. Gibbs to the Black Pearl, and no doubt somewhere along the way the Flying Dutchman will be needed to enter the storyline with Will Turner.

Enter Elizabeth Swan to provide a bit of romantic tension and you've pretty much got a ready made sequel. Can't help thinking it might be a bit too similar to Curse of the Black Pearl though.

a sequel would be nice, but Disney have already said it stops with 3.

I highly doubt Disney will go back on that. I hope so though  :lol:

I've heard rumours about a 4 and 5.

If the box office does well enough, and they can get people to commit to it, they will continue. It's too big a franchise to leave alone.

I kind of hope they do leave it though.

I'm not someone who hates sequels, I love sequels and franchises, if they continue to be done well. But the more they do, the more chance there is of running out of ideas and dropping the ball.

I think there's the danger of the studio's taking control and essentially just making a big advert for the merchandising, which is where Batman went wrong with Batman Forever and Batman and Robin.

That's the biggest problem with Spidey 3 too.

They should definatly make a 4th film, they may have tied up the loose ends from the 1st and 2nd films but they made a whole lot more of them and i'd love to know what happens next!

I would love it if they made a prequel to the movies. I've been reading the stories from when Jack was 13 and his adventures with his friends. And then possibly run up to when he worked for Beckett and then how Beckett cast him off and labelled him a Pirate. And then theres all his little adventures after that on how he got his Spanish ring and his other trips after that.

yup thats very true and she has said that for some time now wich meens Orlando Bloom (Will turner) might also not be in it or eliabeth may leave him in number 4 or it could be repeated with what happened too davy jones

Well, I think how Pirates 3 ends, it could very easily drop the Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann characters and run with Jack Sparrow and Captain Barbosa - introducing a new supporting cast.

Let's face it, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley aren't the best pair of actors in Hollywood. Orlando Bloom should have stuck with the elves and I remember when Keira Knightley was Natalie Portman's decoy!

Major spoiler but it is a rumor that will and Elizabeth won't be in the next one if there is another!!! and it will be a Jack Sparrow story! andit won't be out till either 2009-2011! :!:

Well it has been confirmed that Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley quit the franchise, but i think a movie with only Jack Sparrow instead of all 3 would also be awesome.
