Hey y'all!!

We are looking at pricing of planning a trip to see if we can swing it. We are Disney World fanatic and know it like the back our of hand so we are out of our comfort zone.

The promotion that's going on now... it says 2 free nights etc if booked by Feb 5th. Is there a chance they will extend it? Or will they replace it with a new promotion? I'm trying to get the most for our money and I'm so overwhelmed.

How much is required for a deposit and when is the balance due?

We are pricing a trip in late September. I saw Phantom Manor is closed and I am DYING to ride that so I need to make sure it's open.

Tips?

They will replace that deal with another one shortly. They're generally predictable but alas I really can't remember the order they pop up in. I know the percent off and free meal plan one generally appears after the one you're currently seeing.

I'm not sure about deposits etc as I always book online and there you pay the whole balance straight away.

Phantom Manor is closed until October for a huge refurbishment. There's no definite reopening date as yet.

Hello and welcome to the forum!

There's currently a very good offer on both German and Italian sites that gives 25% discount plus free half board, if you do a price match I believe it will be more affordable than the 2 nights free offer. You can use Google Translate to navigate through the sites.

Also, if you ring them instead of booking online, you can pay a 15% deposit (plus hotel tax + handling fees) with the rest of the amount due 60 days before your trip.

As already posted there are always offers on. The next one usually appears 2-3 weeks after the end on the previous one. The 20/30% off and free meal plan seems to work out better than the free nights (plus you get the option of upgrading from half board to full board for a few bucks more)

But if it's going to be closed until October, does that mean by the 1st? I would consider not going this year if it will be closed. because that's one ride I don't want to miss.

Also, I'm in the USA, wouldn't calling them be a pretty pricey phone bill?

Does anyone have links to the other booking sites that were mentioned?  German and Italian sites?

Y'all are so helpful and I appreciate it so much!

to call Disneyland Paris from USA just call the number for Walt Disney World in Florida and ask to be ttransfered to Disneyland Paris.

As mentioned the different European countries have different deals and offers. You can book any of these offers, you do not have to just book from the country you live in.

Unlike the American Parks, Disneyland Paris does not mail anything in the post. When you book you get a confirmation email which you bring with you to check in.

The other websites to check are
www.disneylandparis.ie/
www.disneylandparis.co.uk
www.disneylandparis.fr
www.disneylandparis.nl
www.disneylandparis.de
www.disneylandparis.be
www.disneylandparis.it

The first 2, Ireland and UK are in English. All the others are in their country language. All the Disney websites have the same layout. Just one an English one in one tab and then go through the others checking for your dates and party size on all of them.

Then once you find a suitable price and / or offer just ring and book it.

When you book over the phone you can pay a deposit and then the balance about 60 days before arrival day.

Once you have booked you need to go back to the country website you booked on to create a MY DISNEY ACCOUNT. You will then be able to see you booking and itinary online. There will also be an online payment form to pay the balance of your booking.

ADR at Disneyland Paris can only be done by phone, not online. ADR open at 60 days before arrival. Unlike Walt Disney World, reservations are not as stressful or as manic. Most people do ADR about 3 or 2 weeks before arrival. It is always best to do ADR as the more popular places like Walts, the character meals at Auberge de Centrillian, Inventions and the breakfast at The Plaza Gardens, Chez Remy all book up in advance.

You can also do ADR at Town Hall or at your hotel reception.

To make ADR from USA you will need to phone the number for Walt Disney World in Florida and ask to be transferred to Disneyland Paris Dining Reservations. .

Thank you SO much!!!! You are so very helpful!!

It sounds like booking trips, ADR and paying balance could be a hassle, but not too bad.

Dumb question...... calling FL and then being transferred won't  charge me will it?

Also, what does 'half board' mean?

Also, what does 'half board' mean?

half board means one meal per night of your stay. This can either be lunch or diner (that is your choice). There isn't a different menu at lunch or diner time in the table service or buffet restaurants, so it doesn't matter price wise.
Full board means two meals per night of your stay, So you get a 1 meal voucher per night when you book half board and 2 meal vouchers per night when you book full board.

So if you are planning to stay 4 nights/5days and book half board you get 4 meal vouchers. If you book full board you get 8. You can use these vouchers when ever you want during your stay. You can even use al of these vouchers on your first day if you want (don't know why you would want to do that, but it is possible).
just be aware that one voucher stands for one meal for one person. You cant use one voucher to pay for 2 cheaper meals for 2 persons or use 2 vouchers to pay for 1 expensive meal for one voucher.

I hope that made any sense.

If you have any more questions don't be afraid to ask. The Disneyland Paris dining plan is a bit different form the Disney world version and can be a little confusing.

If you can manage Walt Disney World you will be fine :)

calling Florida and being transferred will just cost what it normally costs to call Florida. Think of it like calling your electricity company. You call the main phone line which gets answered by reception. You want the accounts department so the reception person transfers you to the correct department on the internal phone system. You think everyone is in the same building, but you later find out that the person who answered the reception phone line is in the main building and the accounts department is located across town in a totally different building.
