My daughter-in-law is wondering about the baby facilities in the park. She doesn't want to pack too much baby items ie: baby food, nappies, formula etc. particularly if she can purchase the items in the park. We know there is a baby centre in main street, but what exactly does it offer.
Is there anything she should bring thats seems obvious but is always the one item that is forgotten.
Baby will be 9 months old when we visit in November.

Calpol!!!! We couldnt get it anywhere. It was the paracetamol that dissolves in water which kids wouldnt  drink.  Od yake nappies and wipes with you...(view at extra space for souvineers once theyve been used ;)

In all honesty I'd pack it all and take it! It would cost far more to buy there than the cost of extra suitcase or luggage weight, and at least if you take it with you, you know you've got everything you need. Less stressful being prepared! Has she thought about bringing a baby sling for a bit of a break from the buggy during the day?

Calpol is a must have; baby is teething just now so it's high on the list of items to take.

Thanks for your reply, daughter-in-law going to bring as much nappies & wipes as she can, as well as some food, plus I'll be able to put items in my suitcase to help out, and as Polar vixen mentioned more space for all the souvenirs to take home once the nappies etc. have been used. :) The baby sling is a good idea, we'll look out for one.

I've been to DLP quite a lot with mine as babies and I took everything with me.  I think they have a few essentials in the baby centre from memory but it's not like a full on shop that sells all baby things.  They have a few baby items at the petrol station shop outside Santa Fe hotel but apart from that you can't buy the things you need so definitely take everything with you.

Hi dlpowl,
she has decided to stock up on all the essentials; we are going by Eurostar so no issue with baggage weight, just have to  remember to also bring baby.  ;)

My daughter was 14 months when we went and we made good use of the baby centre. They sell baby food - both pouches for younger babies and ready meal type food such as spaghetti bolognese etc. There's a microwave for heating up food and baby changing facilities.

It's a good idea to start making a list of all your day to day stuff that you use so that you don't forget anything when it comes to packing. Then add extras like first aid for the 'just in case' moments.
