For anyone who has been the first week of Jan, what were your experiences? And would you recommend, we went just before Christmas last year.

We have been during the first week of January, but it was a few years ago. This was probably the quietist time of year that we have been, even the fast pass lines were closed. But as it is the 25th anniversary it my be a bit busier. You may even get a bit of the Christmas season too

We went this year and it was OK, a bit busy but most children were back in school

Next year (January 2018) note that most countries will still be off the first week of January, school holidays go from the 25/12 to the 07/01, so I would expect the parks to be rather busy!!
