We have just booked a trip for march 2016 and have the free half board meal plan, we don't usually bother booking this as we have 2 very fussy children and prefer to do character dining! Can we use our free vouchers and pay towards the cost of inventions, auberge de cendrillon, cafe Mickey, buffalo bills etc and if so how does it work? What's the ace value of them (I know there's usually 3 levels, not sure which level the free vouchers are) can they also be used in rainforest cafe and planet Hollywood etc? We tried upgrading to half board premium to incorporate the character dining but this isn't an option! Any advice would be greatly appreciated as we are trying to plan our budget!

tge standard of vouchers will depend which hotel your staying at abd you can definitely use them as partial payment,  but not at planet Hollywood or rainforest cafe.

Yes, as Polar Vixen says, the value depends on which hotel you're staying at but check your booking confirmation as it will state 'Standard', 'Plus' or 'Premium' meal plan.  Then we will be able to help you a bit more with what your options are.

Yep you can use them towards Character dining - i went last week and used it towards Auberge.
the current face value of the half board plus voucher is €35 for an Adult (no idea what the kids ones are, sorry!)
