I am considering make a list of all the domains that can be used for DLP from an English computer - So far I'm up to M named countries and the only issue I'm having is with Malta.

Doing my research, clicking the change region at the top of the DLP homepage, I found a lot of countries, even within the EU, simply take you to the global international site. Mostly the North + Western EU countries that seem to have their own, with their own different offers.

I mean, it's not entirely surprising the Vatican State doesn't have it's own DLP site....  ;D

Stumbled upon this FAQ on the official DLP site:

QuoteQ. Can I benefit from offers available for other countries?
A. Yes, you can benefit from offers adapted for other countries. Please visit our other country websites or call our advisers at 08448 008 898.
Calls cost 5p per min from BT landline, other networks may vary.

Seems official then, and it doesn't actually state only offers from other EU countries are available.

Indeed. They just have to make the offers from other countries available – they don't need to shout from the rooftops about them.

When I was booking last year I chatted with the online support and she said it is OK to book another country's offer, add my own address in term of town, street, etc and leave the country as it is (it could not be changed). I found a better offer on the UK site! (2 nights free offer) I'm living in an Eastern European country and we have the worst offers.

I've booked through the French site several times. Just booked the NBC for next year, under 12's free and it's cost half the price of the English site. The confirmation took about five minutes to come through. Never had any problems. I was worried the first time, but everything worked out fine.

Hi, as you've recently done this can you tell me if it costs any extra using a UK bank card? I've found it's a lot cheaper also  ;D so it's worth doing aslong as I'm not charged hefty amounts ect. The overall saving vs the English website is £200 so think its worth it!

Although the English site has half board with it but we like to eat in the places the vouchers would not cover

Most UK bank cards will charge you an extra 3% or so for transactions not in your native currency. You usually still make a saving, but to squeeze out every last pound, get/use a card such as Halifax Clarity, Lloyds Bank Avios Rewards, or Metro Bank which have no charges or fees for use abroad.

Mintcar

Yep, we booked with Visa and were charged about £50 for the privilege of paying in Euros on the Dutch website.  However, with the 25% off, along with free half board, we still saved around £250 on the UK prices so was worth doing for us personally as it meant we could go for an hotel with half board plus options.

I only paid a small amount to my credit card for using a different currency. Not more than ten pounds. But we are saving over £300 compared to the British site.
