Hi all,

I've read/heard rumours that It's A Small World will be opening again on 19th December this year, so a bit earlier. Can anyone confirm if there's any truth to this?

It is not reopening early, December 19th was always the plan.
However plans change, especially at DLP, so there's always the possibility that it opens later.
It never opens earlier than the planned date.

Oh, ok. It's just the website says it's closed all of December, and that's what seems to have been on all the announcements. It's the first I've heard that it was the 19th, that's all.

My 2 year old girl would appreciate it if they could open it for 10 mins every day of last week in October... 😪

Oh well, there's still plenty to do and see and it gives you a reason to come back.

but isn't it supposed to stay closed or be closed again until early 2016? since I remember it was said to be closed during march 2016 as well...

That's what I didn't quite understand. Apparently there's a sign up atm in City Hall saying it'll reopen on 19th December, but there's nothing on the website or on here that I can find saying that it's open in December at all.

this would be good news if is is open then ...
when i first looked at going it said that , then it changed to early 2016 so i was gutted as i have to ride this every holiday , so if this is right it will be great , fingers crossed..
not so surethe rest of my family will be happy though..

According the the official Disney site closures it is shut all of December but no mention of it being shut on the 1st or 2nd of January (that's the only 2 days up at the moment). I know my older 2 girls find it very boring bit I know my baby who will be 21 months would love it plus my dads travelling with us this time and he loves this one too 😁 I am the end of January and at the moment am hoping that they just keep closures that are on the list as closed, will miss thunder mountain and the railroad. 😞

As I know - new colors on the fassade, all dolls working properly, repainted, everything cleaned.
