Just read on fb Adventure isle, Captain Hooks ship closed for refurb at the moment is this correct ?

Yes, I'm a bit confused by this too -- I'm taking my girlfriend in October so was disappointed to see some websites listing Adventure Isle as being closed from August through to April, but I've not seen anything about this on twitter this month and no updates on what is being done - if anything- and it's not listed on dlrpmagic's refurbishment list.

There were some bits about the Pont Suspendu being refurbed that I spotted, but that's open again now, so could it be they're just closing certain bits of the area off throughout this period while leaving others open? or is it just that some websites have got it wrong?

It's not a major attraction, so it's not the end of the world for me if it's closed off, but it's a great place to explore when the queues are busy so it'd be nice if it's there!

What I read on the various twitter accounts etc there seems to be no work done on Adventure Isle. At the moment you are good to go. I will see it for myself on Friday.

I believe the pirate ship is currently closed and has been for some time and there is a still bits of resurfacing happening around Adventureland. I think the major Adventure Isle refurbishment will be January - September 2016 and will include the along with the refurbishment of La Cabane Des Robinson.

The ship is often closed one day, then open the next - at random. Its possibly a staffing issue rather than a refurb issue.

The upside of it being closed is of course that people can take photos of it without having folks on deck in their picture ;)

The ship opened up yesterday. I guess b/c they closed Pirates. The Isle is a maze now with all the construction going on but you can still walk over it and enjoy some of the things.
