Hi this is gonna be our first family visit to DLP.
We are going to be there the weekend before Christmas, yes we know it will be busy.
Has anyone been at this time of year and what was the weather like.
Also is there anything special we shouldn't miss out on at this time of year.
Just want to make it special for our little 3 year old adrenaline junkie lol

Well what the weather will be like is something that nobody can answer for you.
I've been going every year for Christmas since 1992, and I've experienced every weather condition possible.
There were years where it was too cold to do anything, there were years where it was sunny, there were years were it was rainy.
It's Central Europe, so anything can happen. Just because it's December doesn't mean it has to be cold and full of snow.
Just watch the weather report a few days before you go.

There hasn't been an official announcement yet on Christmas Season 2014, so there can't be given any special recommendations.
If we go by last year, then you should definitely check out the Christmas Parade, the Treee Lighting, Disney Dreams of Christmas, meeting Jack Skellington as Sandy Claws, meeting the real Santa Claws, watch the Princess Promenade, meet the VIP's in their special Christmas outfits during Extra Magical Hours etc.
But since nothing has been confirmed on returning, you can't go by this list. We'll have to wait a while longer for the announcement.

If you plan for it to be cold and wet, you'll have covered the worst of conditions.

Take plenty of layers of clothes, hats and warm boots and a rain coat. Hopefully you won't need them, but the number of times we've heard people say they're cold is unbelievable - what do they expect in December!

The atmosphere and Christmas decs are wonderful and the characters are dressed accordingly.
