Do you plan by area or is it possible to see the whole park in 1x day – my daughter will be 5 and we are there for 4x days so were in no rush.
Thanks

no chance in getting much in on a single day.

what we did for the first trip was get the park map and see what the kids wanted to do. it helped pass the time on the journey.

first day though, go into the main park and head to the castle and then through into fantasyland. lots and lots of stuff there, but you'll need to get your fastpass to peter pan and tickets for princess pavilion early on. once you have those then explore. usually characters about to and they are worth any queue you find yourself in.

hope it helps :)

We always take advantage of EMH, so we do the rides included first thing in the morning. Then we usually grab fastpasses for Big Thunder Mountain and head to Phantom Manor. We spend the rest of the morning around the various lands and take advantage of low waiting times and fastpasses. In the afternoon we usually go to the Studios and grab fastpasses for Tower of Terror and use Single Riders for Crush's Coaster and Ratatouille, then head back to the main park and spend the rest of our day there doing rides and watching the parade, ending it with Dreams or doing Phantom Manor for the millionth time! Lol!

thank you both for your replies its a great help x

princess pavillion requires tickets? is this fast pass tickets or just queue to see?

msRavenswood

You need to queue to get tickets that indicate what time you need to come back to meet the Princesses. So, you actually need to queue twice.

I find it best to plan in 2 steps - work out where you want to have lunch (and possibly dinner) each day, then section your day into 2 around that - e.g. lunch at Lucky Nugget so AM Frontierland and PM Adventureland. If you're there for a few days, you can get round both parks like that and hopefully do all the most important attractions to you

Mrsya

On our first trip, we didn't even get into frontierland until day 3! Now we know the park a little better we often land hop and occasionally park hop as fastpasses got in the morning for ratatouille are often for 5pm later that day! We normally do a land for half a day then lunch, different land then tea and then check the info boards for short queues and wait times. You can get a few favourites done in evenings when it's quieter too so we have walked from buzz to pirates to btm before!

thank you really helpful info x

If your 5 year old is anything like my 4 year old, she'll be more than happy spending lots of time in Fantasyland - lots of rides suitable for little girls, plus there's the castle, princess pavilion (if you're happy to queue) and Auberge De Cendrillion (if you're planning on eating there). We went there every day for EMH, plus back again a few times

Hello,

If you can use EMH you can get Fantasy land completed in the 2 hours leaving you the rest of the day to concentrate on the rest of the park. We do this then settle for one other land may be two depending on crowd levels. Think about what day it is .... the weekends will be more busy, we tend to stay in the Hollywood studios at weekends and concentrate on the other park during weekdays
