Were going 7th - 11th September with a 10 month old baby and I'm unsure whether to make some bookings for character dining or wait until we get there.

We don't really have any plans and the baby is not on a set routine so we were going to see when he gets up and then take it from there but I don't want to get there and everything is booked.

I'm hoping everyone will be back to work/school next week making the place a lot quieter

We're going on the same dates as you!  ;D It's normally quieter during September, so perhaps you won't find trouble getting a table. Of course, just to be safe, you can make reservations and cancel or alter them once you're at the resort.

We went in March and we did book in advance. I would not do that again. It is easier to just book when you arrive so you can see if the time is still useful. We often ate a late lunch and then our dinners plans were just to early.

Even in August last year we had no problems making bookings at the latest moment.
