Hi,

I posted earlier about upgrading to DLH......well I went and did it this afternoon.  So....I intend on ringing and putting in requests for the room.....any tips or recommendations would be useful... I don't mind paying the extra for a room with a terrace is his it advisable.  I am only at present staying in a classic room(castle club out of the question).  Travelling with myself are my partner and my daughter who will be 2 and half when we go.

I just went to thomson who my booking is with and told them I wanted to upgrade hotel.  They rung disney, got a price and I paid it!! No extra charges incurred for changing of booking either!!  If your booking is ugh disney, just ring them direct!!x

You dont have to pay extra for a terrace room, when i stayed there in jan 2011 our room was on the ground floor and there was a terrace on our room looking out on to the area outside the pool, so we where on the opposite end to the lobby, but that end of the hotel has its own door so you dont have to go in through the lobby every time to get back to your room, i dont think they would have a problem with you requesting one... Good luck

Amanda, I see you are staying in castle club, is it right that castle club is never included in any of the special offers? I have 2 nights free, this wont carry forward if I book castle club right? X

Very sad as I would love it but cannot justify an extra £2k for the priviledge!!!!
