I'm sure this has been asked before - and I apologise for repeating myself, but what other hotels etc in the area do people recommend? We'd like to be close to resort, so no more than 30mins drive I guess. However a big stipulation is that my Hubby wants a swimming pool where we stay.

What good places meet these requirements and aren't bank breaking?

Thanks

Helen

I would recommend the dream castle hotel 4star....have stayed there twice and both times have been good, the only issue we had was the pushing to get on the bus which comes round every 20ish minutes (only 5 minutes away from park and is free) it can be very crowded. There is a swimming pool there. And we stayed at the start of june for 4night 5 days included breakfast, park tickets, for 712 pounds which was the cheapest at the time. Hope this helps. Any more questions, please ask :-)

The Adagio and the Residence du Parc are both self catering apartments within about 1 minutes drive of the park. Both have outdoor pools. We've stayed in both and would be happy to return to either.
Being self catering, they are more pricey than room only, but you can save money by not eating out all the time.
