Last week, whilst searching around for items not previously photographed I found this little gem of a poster in the entrance area beside the pay booths. This was the only poster that did not feature a current attraction and I wondered if anyone else has noticed this. has it been there for many years and just not replaced? Or is DLRP wallowing in a bit of nostalgia? What do you think?

I think it may say Euro Disneyland at the bottom of the poster, in which case the poster could be an original and  just not been replaced, paying tribute to an old attraction. It's a bit of nostalgia anyway and I wouldn't mind doing it again. Gone but not forgotten.

I think this poster has always been there, must have passed it hundreds of times but I have never looked at it properly and always thought it was from Captain EO and it was Michael Jackson. Ooooops !

The figure has a more solid nose than Michael Jackson had!

I only visited this attraction a couple of times, but if memory serves me well when entering were we met by the Timekeeper in the poster before going through to the circle vision, then Jules Verne taking us through time. I've maybe got 2 attractions mixed up; it was a long time ago. I do remember in the circle vision wearing headphones for the different languages and my son being a pest because he wanted to go back on Star Tours; he was aged 7 then so I suppose he found standing watching a film a bit tame compared to flying through space. :D

According to an old souvenir guide of mine, "Le Visionarium, its grand exhibition hall houses a totally new experience in Circle Vision 360 that puts you right in the centre of the action. Hosted by the great Jules Verne ( another of Walt's heroes), visitors travel through time to see the greatest marvels of yesterday and today, and then take off into the future at the speed of light".  And, "the building that houses Le Visionarium invites you to be taken through time by Jules Verne in an all encompassing movie hosted by Timekeeper and you'll be amazed what you see around you." Sounds great doesn't it.

I remember it, there was the pre-show and then we went into the grand hall to see the main show. I remember having to stand and put on the headphones. I'm not keen on headphones in attractions, but I enjoyed the show although it did seem a bit old fashioned by the time it closed. I could not believe how they changed the show building to fit in Buzz Lightyear

Thanks for that ed-uk,  I remember more of it now. :D   I  agree with you; how on earth did they manage to fit Buzz Lightyear into that space. The two rooms together didn't seem that big; must be that Disney magic at work again.

Speaking of nostalgic Dlrp posters, Is there a "Space Mountain: De La Terra A La Lune" poster?

Sadly, no. Those were all replaced by Mission 2.

Le visionarium is even a bit more present in the park then you may think, in Buzz lightyear as an ode to the visionarium you can find nine eye hidden in one of the scenes!

Really love the visionarium theme!
