disney trippin 2013 march 27th - april 2nd day 4 added

hey guys, even though there is still 37 sleeps until my trip i am far too excited to leave starting my trip report.... so here it is, finally starting another trip report! and I swear I will finish it this time!
so here's the plan:

day 0 - Wednesday 27th march - jump on the train to London where we will then catch the Eurostar we change at Lillle Europe (any pointers for this are very welcome! never travelled by Eurostar so its all very new!) arrive at Disney around 7pm and check in at the explorers hotel

day 1 -Thursday 28th march - after breakfast we will check out of the explorers hotel and make our way to the sequoia lodge, where we will be staying for the next 4 nights, after checking in and getting our passes we will head for Disneyland!

day 2- 5 Friday 29th - Sunday 31st march- will be the usual Disneyland programme, that we all do while there

day 6  - Monday 1st April - after breakfast we will check out of the sequoia and after dropping our bags off will leave and have a full day in the parks leaving at some point in the afternoon to check in at the kyraid

day 7 - Tuesday 2nd April - we will have the morning to do what we like before we leave on the afternoon for our Eurostar and train home

p.s. if your around at DLP between Thursday the 28th and Tuesday the 2nd (we leave Tuesday afternoon) keep an eye out for me, I will have Nana with me most of the time, and my lanyard has a little thing in it saying I am on the magic forum

Awesome lol!!!

Explorers has a great pool no matter ur age and you can get a nice pizza after for 11 € or so. Kyriad is a basic botel but have lovely comfortable beds lol!! Buses explorers is first on the pick up list and kyriad is 2nd!!

i love that picture!!!! and she definately is.... we are all daydreaming about that =]

and thanks toonarmylass we have stayed in the explorers a few times before but never the kyraid so those tips where helpful =]

Day 1 travel day...

After walking up making last checks we left for the train station, boarded our train and where leaded for London at around quarter to 11.... A game of travel monopoly later and we where pulling into kings cross station, we took our time wandering over to St Pancras as it was only 20 past 12 and we weren't due to leave until just after 2, but the time passed quickly and we where soon on our way, a stopover in lille that almost brought us loosing nana to a couple of kids due to the language barrier! (See sailorsun2008s report she talks about this) and we where on our way again and then not long after we where getting our first glimpses of disneyland spotting space mountain through the trees.

 it was now that i appreciate arriving at DLP late, and also see what you mean by the bus is a mad scrum, we almost didn't make it onto the first bus to the explorers but managed it... Just.... A hop skip and jump and we where checking in at the explorers, room 605, nice view over the entrance of the hotel, by this time it was coming on for around 7.30 and with some time to kill we went for a swim, which nicely took up a couple of hours, we decided on just having a pizza in the hotel which we took up to our room a little TV watching (handy tip for you adults staying in here... we found that for our TV the cbbebbies channel becomes bbc1 i would assume when cbbebbies is finished for the day)

 we settled down for sleep.... Sleep that unfortunately wouldn't come for hours.... Now i don't know if it was just the fact that i knew i needed to be up or what, but the slightest noise kept me awake... But i watched the clock tick... 12.30... 1... 1.20... 2... Then the room above us seemed to be having a party for themselves.... Lots of noise, by 2.45 with a 6.30 wake up i couldn't take it any more and wandered down to reception to see if they could help, the lovely man came straight with me to find the source of the noise (it was coming from directly above us) and the lovely people in the room where very apologetic and not 5 minutes later i was once again tucked up in bed...

But even with that noise gone sleep still wouldn't come.... I even caught myself at one point coming up with what i would write in my trip report....I couldn't say when it was that i fell asleep, but i do know that my phone blasting rebel love song by black veil brides at me for an alarm very nearly gave me a heart attack...

here are the few pictures i took on the first day.... i will put pictures throughout the text in the next days...
