I assume that those who already have passes will have their terms of contract honoured and that parking and EMH will remain unchanged.

They'll probably honour EMH, but not the privileged parking (if that's whats being introduced). Current AP holders weren't offered privileged parking, so they don't have to give it to them.

We're watching things very carefully. We have 10 nights booked at the Adagio in August, with the intention of buying Dream passes. If passes become unviable, we have free cancellation on the hotel, so we'll give Disney a miss.

if you're willing to forego the 10% discount, you could buy your passes online half way through March: that gives you 6 months to claim your definitive pass at the BPA.
Ofcourse, you would have to pay them now, but that would mean you're not at risk of an unaffordable price-change.

We get 15% shareholders discount, but its definitely worth considering. Thanks.

Hiya

We are booked to go (Eurotunnel & Magic Circus) 2-6 April...by then the AP prices will have risen.  ::) We were going to buy our Fantasy Passes x3 at the gate, using my friend's Dream pass to give us discount, giving her 3 parrinage stamps and an extension to her pass.

I am guessing that is now all up in the air ....who knows how much a comparable pass to the Fantasy will be and who knows if they will continue the sponsorship of APs?

As I cannot afford a nasty surprise I am buying my APs from the Discount Ticket Store (2 A & 1 C £405, activate by 17th May 2017) which is a price I am happy with. Sadly my friend misses out  :'( but I could not afford to wait and be landed with an unexpected bill. It would be handy to know what the price rises will be as I really would have liked to do the parrinage.

I agree, it would be nice to know the details of the new passes (prices, privileges, sponsorship etc.) before the old passes become unavailable, but guess Disney don't want to release details.

It will be interesting to know how they cope with your vouchers for Fantasy passes when they are potentially no longer available. Can you email Disney and explain that you have been given Fantasy vouchers (as a gift?), but have heard they will no longer be issued?

Let us know if you glean any information please.

I have heard even the travel agencies do not get the details of the new AP-structure untill it is actually in effect, to prevent people from quickly buying AP's before the actual change. That does not give me the idea that the change will be minor....

We have full sponsorship forms for August this year and February 2018 - very curious what AP we get if Dream-AP's no longer exist by then.

Thanks for sharing! I have mixed feelings about these new passes - but on the whole they're still way better value compared to Disneyland.

Two question - it says that sponsoring three people will now get a six month extension, not 12. Any thoughts on what pass they'd extend you with? Are they saying that Dream is equivalent to Magic Plus, for example? Secondly, no mention of the discount given to people being sponsored... is it still 10%?

A&S&O

For us, the changes are not as bad as we'd envisioned.

We usually buy Fantasy passes, but expected to have to buy Dream passes this year due to there being so many blockout dates in August.

The Magic Flex seems to be the equivalent to the Fantasy pass - but no longer gives Magic Hours, and blockout dates aren't listed.

The Magic Plus seems to be the equivalent to the Dream pass, but with extra blockout dates. The blockout dates are between Christmas and New Year and Halloween week, which won't affect us.

So, Magic Plus for us.

Any idea anyone the best email address to use to check and double check how my  Fantasy AP voucher is going to work when I exchange it on the 2nd April in the parc. Or maybe ringing them is better? Any advice gratefully received.  ;)

Hi,

We're going to DLP in April (for one day to celebrate my daughter's birthday) & we're looking to get Annual Passes while we're there.  We've already bought our 1 Day, 2 Parks entry tickets.

Am I right in thinking that if I take a bank statement showing the IBAN (& double-checking with my bank that they will allow the DD to be taken from my account), I will be able to pay monthly for the Magic Plus AP?

Do they take the whole amount of my Day Tickets cost off the Magic Plus AP price instead of the €55 per card?  And would we still be able to be sponsored by a current AP holder?

I am also assuming they don't do Child AP's...

Sorry for all the questions & thank you in advance for your help!

Jenny x
