Hi All,

By chance, I've come across a listing for a TV Programme called "DISNEYLAND ET SES SECRETS".

So for those of you who receive FRANCE 3, it's on on Monday at 20:35.

And even if you don't speak french, I'm sure there are gonna be some great Pictures, so i persume it's worth watching.
Maybe it will also be available for download after it has aired.

Enjoy!

Please please please could someone upload this to youtube, it's 2 hours long as well and has a lot of behind the scenes stuff from the description. Despite the fact I've worked backstage I'd like to find out about what I didn't get to see while there.

Thanks!

For now, you can watch it online right here: //http://www.pluzz.fr/disneyland-et-ses-secrets.html
or //http://www.pluzz.fr/replay/
I'm currently at work, so I can't really check if it works well...

From what I understand from the Website, they will eventually also sell it for download, though I'm not 100% sure.

I only watched half of it yesterday and recorded the rest, but what I've seen so far, was awesome. It's truly a unique opportunity to look behind the scenes. They show you everything, the Costume department, how the Dancers prepare for the Parade (I didn't know that they don't play the same role every day...), how they do restauration, how they fix the animatronics, how they maintain the parade floats, all the work they do with the plants, etc.

It's definitely worth watching, though I might warn some of you, that it could be quite a spoiler. If you don't want to know how the magic works behind the scene, don't watch it.

Enjoy!

Ok so my French aint that good, so when the guy on the Fantillusion float was talking he mentiond something about 6-7 million euro's? Is that the price the parade costs to make? Or to operate yearly?

OK, French isn't my first language either, so don't quote me on it...

From what I understood Phillippe Gas does actually say that the Characters don't talk... yet. He also says that he doesn't want them to talk to him even if he passes them backstage.

As for the Fantillusion Floats, they are actually talking about the light bulbs, 700'000 per Float (can that be accurate?).

That's what he said. Don't expect talking mickey any time soon. Gas seems like a nice guy though.

Oh I see, I tought I heared the word euro first time round afther he said the amount, but with a second look at it I don't hear that anymore, so the amount of lights makes more sense then :p

Does anyone know what the parade costs then? Been always curious about that, but never found any information on it.

Disappointed they showed the face parade characters getting ready, that's the kind of stuff Walt would never have allowed.

They could have shown some of the other things going on as well behind the scenes, the more regular jobs....shops, restaurants, rides and guest flow. But it was still very well made none the less.
