Thank you for the photos. Such a difference it's much nicer without the stage.

Yes, it was there. But it was a different one that was smaller. It didn't have the three things sticking out. I can't remember what it was like before the stage was there, either.

It's so satisfying to see that stage finally leaving, it worked for the 15th show, but the satellite stages were a mistake, they didn't even improve the show because it was never choreographed to act as an in the round show, it was just a funny shaped stage! I'd love to see them move the Partners statue from Studios into the hub so it falls in the same place in each of the parks it's in. Aside from that there is nothing I'd like to see there but fountains if they enhance the show, and the return of nice planting.

On the statues point, imagine if they moved Partners to DLP, and then the new Friends one to Studios, and re-worked Hollywood placemaking to a Buena Vista Street style. It's like the stage was stopping things from falling into place!

I actually prefer the Partners statue in the Studios park. I think visitors in Europe are less aware of the Disney legacy and the history of the man, and I think it makes sense to have a Park dedicated to the stories and the characters, and a park dedicated to the history, the techniques and behind the scenes.

I'm actually excited about being able to see Central Plaza stage free, the area looks so much better without one.

What was they thinking in 2005 with that Wishes plaque? It looks awful!
Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love you, tomorrow,... You're always a day closer to my next Disney trip!

Oh yeah. The stage wasn't there in 2005. It was 2007. XD The 15th anniversary confused me.

I hadn't visited the park before the stage was put in.

That looks SO much better without it. I can see the want to have a stage there and the castle makes a nice backdrop for a show. But, the stage was too high and it obscured the view of the castle.

It's pretty much gone now. It shouldn't take them long to return the hub to how it was, I don't think. They may have to re-lay the floor though, dependant on how much damage was caused by the building/demolition of the stage, but the large circular flower bed should still be there, just needing to be uncovered and re planted after its 5 year hybernation :P
