Newport Bay really is lovely with such nice weather.
A bit foolish what happened with the cake, but glad he enjoyed it anyway!

We loved the Newport Bay, took us a while to work out where everything was but its a lovely hotel. I phoned the week before we left and asked for a room close to reception if possible and had a room in the main building on the 4th floor. The lake view was a lovely surprise too. Breakfast was civilised too, we went at different times between 7 and 9.30 and always went straight in. Would definately stay there again :D

Sounds like you were very lucky. In my experience, the NBC had the least civilised breakfast experience of all the Disney hotels, sounds like things have improved. Great!
since 2001 (many before that)

The weather really was lovely and that pool looks beautiful.

I can't believe you took those photographs by the pool in October!!  You would consider yourself lucky to be able to use the outdoor pool in July never mind October!!!   :D

octobre, by the pool... when we were there last oyear at this time, tere was no pool weather at all... :? And this year our hotel didn`t have an outdoor pool. I still loved the hotel.
