We where there for a week in August, since my friend is disabled we arrived in the corded off zone about 2 hours before Dreams, so she could have a clear unrestricted view from behind the flowerbed in her wheelchair.

The first night everything went smoothly , everyone in the disabled zone, and I seem to remember everyone in Central Plaza, was instructed by geust flow castmembers to sit down, afther the leader of the guest flow castmembers told them to do so.

The second night we again arrived 2 hours before Dreams and it was just a nightmare, castmembers where not instructed by the leader to get people to sit down, and only the first 30 mins afther we got there they telling people to get off the grass, afther 30 mins they did not bother about that anymore.

So as soon as Fantillusion started, the entire grass section of the flowerbed was fovercrowded with people standing up, people in wheelchairs did not see anything anymore, and once the parade finished it became even more crowded for Dreams to start.

Even a fight between about 10 people broke loose, alot of screaming and puhsing, afther 10 mins other security arrived and they where escorted out, only to have 20 new people take to the grass.
It was just a nightmare.

Afther Dreams was over and most people left, my friend asked the leader of guest flow castmembers, why they did not ask everyone to sit down like the night before, and why they let people stay on the grass eventually instead of keeping it clear like the night before.
The castmember said they NEVER ask people to sit down, to which my friend replied that the castmember who was in control the night before did, and he simply replied, then u are a liar.
And he just walked off.

Just shows that they either don't get in dept training , or simply don't care enough, or with them changing work positions each night it becomes a mish mash of what they think they should be doin in certain situations, instead of staying at the same work position every night and getting in dept training regarding that position instead of just a general training since they rotate each night.

Although I couldn't be happier that they've decided to sell Dreams! merchandise I'm so disappointed it took them 6 months to do so. That's a lot of sales they've missed out on. Really they should have been on the shelves the day it premiered.

Is there any this know about Christmas this year?

I imagine that the Christmas lights on the Castle will effect the quality of the projection of Disney Dreams.
Or will they stop Disney Dreams for the Christmas season?

Thanks for the info.

After reading this, I'm considering to cancel my Christmas trip this year.
...I was a big fan of Disney Dreams, but now.... it's beginning to get a big and dark shadow    (my opinion of course)

You mean the show is getting a big and dark shadow? I don't understand. Why?

I mean a shadow over the Disneyland traditions we all love. Many things are canceled or cut down this year because of Disney Dreams.
...Don't take me wrong, I enjoy the show very, very much.. until now, I have seen it 6 times. It's a really beautiful show, but at what cost? I think the price is to high  :(

But Disney Dreams! may not be to blame. It's a DLP tradition. If we've got this, then do it without that. We deserve a nighttime show everyday, a daytime parade everyday, a stage show four times a day, a nighttime parade everyday and we deserve a second park and not one and a half. We all know it, but we can't do anything.

You are right.

I think it's always hard to accept the changes and say goodbye to the things we love. We always want more, and at the same time, keep the old and classic feeling.

In DLP we could take the "Let The Memories Begin" from Disney Parks in the US and change it a bit to create a new slogan "Let The Buyout Begin".

However, we cannot be sure that is going to happen and, if so, it doesn't mean having a significant change. As I always say "Only Time Will Tell". I think that's a better slogan for DLP these days.

Can anyone tell me if Dreams will still be showing in the middle of January? And do they have parades everyday?

The answer for the first one is Yes, Disney Dreams! will be presented everyday at least until March. For the second, yes, you'll be able to enjoy Disney Magic On Parade!

Have a magical stay!
