On the 1st of June 2010 Lightship Productions will release 2 new DVD products and 1 new Blu-ray disc, taking you behind the scenes at Walt Disney World. I believe these are the infamous Travel Channel specials.

The good news is that all of the DVDs are "All Regions", meaning they'll play in the UK and Europe. Usually these kinds of products are Region 1 only.

Check out the 3 products on Amazon.com:

I wonder what the difference is between the 3 versions?  It looks like the more expensive DVD is a boxset - but all 3 versions have different running times.  I would want the blu ray but the running time is shorter that the dvd boxset when blu ray is capable of a lot of hours on less discs.  If anyone gets these, I'd like to know more

I really hope that this is a brand new production of the Travel Channel movies and not just a new cover for the DVD with the old movies from 2007 like in the previous years.

Yeah, NTSC shouldn't be a problem. It used to be a big problem with VHS tapes, but NTSC DVDs seem to play fine on modern equipment.

In 2007 we have been to the US for half a year and there we got a Disney Vacation Planning DVD for WDW and DL and it is also NTSC, but the DVD works very well on our DVD player. So I think we will be fine with it.

I have the 6 disc box set and have watched all of them except the one about Disney Cruise Line.

I believe the production company is named Lightship and I for one hasn't seen these documentaries before. It contains great phootage of the american parks and tells lots of great stories. They are pretty updated with news about Cars Land, World of Color and such.

I will say they do not contain that many new and groundbreaking information, but they get you in the mood and has lots of comments from Cast members, imagineers, experts and of course people from the Disney company.

I got the DVD box today. All six DVDs work fine on my Philips DVD player and on my LG LCD.

The movies are the ones shown on the American Travel Channel, but they are of good quality and the 25$ (~18€) are worth it.

The box includes:
Disc 1: WDW - Behind the Scenes
Disc 2: DL - Behind the Scenes
Disc 3: Ultimate WDW
Disc 4: Animal Kingdom
Disc 5: Disney Cruise Line
Disc 6: Undiscovered Disney Parks

Anyone in the UK managed to buy this product? If you look on Amazon.co.uk you'll see that Amazon themselves don't actually sell it. And the DVDs are region 1, not "All Regions":

I ordered from the USA, but the DVD's came from New Zealand.  On the back of the DVD's it doesn't say anything about regions.
