Hey ho! Time for another mind-numbingly long and averagely illustrated post from Columbiad!

Below is my concept for the Walt Disney Studios.

Okie doke. Where to begin?

1. BROADWAY PLAZA. A new land themed to the glitz and glamour of New York and Broadway. Featuring an immersive street set (compete with yellow taxi), a huge backdrop resembling Times Square and a Broadway theatre, showing a Disney Broadway-style show. (For more info: //http://www.photosmagiques.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=8855)

2. SOARIN' OVER THE WORLD. A new addition to the backlot. Not sure how it'll fit in in terms of theming. Perhaps the ride building could be themes to an aircraft prop warehouse?

3. ENCORE CAFE. (previously Rendevous les Star). Extensivly rethemed, gving diners the sensation that they are dining on a stage, surrounded by hundred of empty seats. The buffet is themed to the off-stage area of a theatre.

4. NEBULUS (?) (previously Armageddon). The movie-theme is done away with, and replaced with a new original plot. The space-craft intrerior is given a minor facelift.

Not numbered: A scaled down version of the Tram tour, using a monorail insetad of trams. Travel through the set of Alice in Wonderland (complete with lifelike Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Catrter AAs), encounter an AA dragon in post-apocolyptic London, and have a close encounter in a restored Catastrophe Canyon.

5. BACKLOT SUBS. Travel deep into the depths of the Backlot Lagoon, and discover an underwater film crew recording a new underwater/ocean themed film.

6. A new dark ride, that takes guests into an immersive filmset, where they are auditioned as extras, and star in a UFO/alien themed film. The exit will feature AA actors taking off thier alien costumes.

7. HOLLYWOOD HILLS LIMO DROP (?) Think Splash Mountain crossed with the old Limosouine ride from DCA. You travel round the  bright and dazzling world of Tinseltown, meeting famous stars such as Maralyn Munro, before plunging into the Backlot Lagoon. (Ok, so it sounded better in my head!)

8.  WALT'S CALIFORNIA. A new land themed to California the way it would have looked when Walt arrived (direct from DCA). Featuring a replica of the Cathway Circle theatre, which houses a new interactive exhibition/film about Walt and his film business dream, and a Bedknobs and Broomsticks dark ride, whickh takes guests on an epic (if not ricketry!) ride on an old bed. Also found here, is a Club 33 resteraunt, inside the Hollywood Hills, offering excelleyn views of World of Colour. The fine red lines represents a new red tram route. The fine blue line represnts a ferry service from Walt's California to Cherry Tree Lane.

Not number: WORLD OF COLOUR. A new night-time spectaular that takes place on the WDS lake. Viewing areas are located in Reme's Paris, Cherry Tree Lane and Walt's California.

9. CHERRY TREE LANE. Mini-land themed to the Mary Poppin's set, featuring Big Ben, London Bridge, Cherry Tree Lane Common, and No. 17 itself, which houses the Mary Poppins's dark ride. A ferry is available from here to Walts California.

10. REME'S PARIS. Mini-land themed to the Disney/Pixar film Ratatouille, featuring the dark ride, a new resteraunt, and a parisian boutique. The area along the lake is styled to the bask of the siene, where Reme meets Linguine, and doubles as the World of Colour viewing area.

11. PIZZA PLANET. The Pizza Planet in Discoveryland is replace with a Jules Vernes resteraunt themed to Journey to the Centre of the Earth. This Pizza Planet in WDS, is a replica of the one seen in the film.

12. TOON STUDIO ARCADE. An indoor arcade area, themed to Toontown, with new arcade games from DCA Paradise Pier.

13. THE TRAILERS. Passing through huge gates marked 'BEHIND THE SCENES', guests discover  the trailers and changing rooms of Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy, where they can take a peek inside thier trailers and meet the real stars of the park. Opposite is childrens's play area, where children can 'film' thier own movie, and a small cafe, where parents can relax and keep an eye on them. Adjacent to Goofy's trailer, is GOOFY'S BARNSTORMER, a kiddies rollercoatser, themed to Goofy's new stuntman business.

14. A new and improved Boulevard, featuring new shops and an arcade leading to Toy Story Playland. At the end of the Boulevard are the HOLLYWOOD HILLS, that provide an entrance to Walt's California.

Well, there we go. :D Took me agggeess, Whaddya fink?  :D
