It was a fun read and your pictures are amazing. Makes me really look forward to my Xmas trip (although my average waiting times will be rather different to yours I fear). I'm glad you had such a good time.

I noticed what you said about the "good old times" with short waiting times and empty queues. I fondly remember those too, but I also remember that DLP was very much struggling financially back then, so I'm actually quite happy for the parks to be more crowded these days - even if that does mean longer waiting times.

But again, thanks for your report, you're very lucky to have friends and family who share the Disney spirit (even if they're not prepared to get up early for it)

Oh, don't get me wrong, I love seeing the park full of people! I don't think I'll ever stop enjoying seeing the faces of people of all ages discovering the magic of the place... The place would feel a bit sad without the crowds... But yes, we were very lucky with the waiting times, it was perfect.... On my next trip we're going for a weekend, end of November, I fear I won't see many queues with less than 60 minutes!

Quote from: "never2old"Hope you enjoyed the report, as usual it ended up being a lot longer than I intended... But it's a way of re-living the magic, and part of me didn't want it to end!

YES! that is the greatness about a trip report and I have absolutely enjoyed reading yours which has been amazing and some memorable photos you've got there - especially the ones of the beautiful Halloween decorations in Frontierland - they are superb!

It has been particularly fun to read a report from the exact same dates as my own trip and we have noticed a lot of the same things being in the same places at the same time on several occations. I'm ashamed of myself for not noticing the Christmas decorations in Main Street on Tuesday though

Just finished reading your fantastic report. You were so lucky with queue times! I hope it's as quiet if not quieter when I go in Jan, although as you said I also like to see the parks busy.

It must have been great going with the family, especially on the first time for your niece and nephew, what great memories
