The Disney Corporation has just bought out Marvel Entertainment for $4Billion!

By buying the comic book giant they have added 5000 characters (heroes and villains) to their already bulging roster!

This means that Disney now owns the rights to the following blockbuster franchises:

SpiderMan
Wolverine and the X-Men
Hulk
Iron Man
Captain America and the Avengers
and many, many, many more!

What does this mean for the theme park industry?  Well for starters Disney's main Florida rival Universal Studios has a Marvel Super Hero land as the centrepice of its Islands of Adventure park.  Will this park have to be shut down?

Could the Supers be making their way to Marne Vallee?

Could Spidey be joining the Stars and Cars Parade?  Could the Moteurs Action stunt show become the Spiderman Stunt Show?

Perhaps a Super Hero/Incredibles theme park as the long-awaited Third Gate?

Oh the possibilities... salivates... [-o<
