well here's another EDV, this time specialising in the very green day that cinludes leprochans (or however they're spelt), beer strangely and amazingly this is a Saint day  .  Yes St. Patricks Day, since some people don't know the origins behind it here I am to bore you to death with them :P .
St Patrick has his origins many many years ago, about 385AD in a not so far away land called the British Isles.  He was captured as a slave at the age of 16 and some legends say one night when he was praying he heard a voice telling him there was a ship waiting for him 200 miles away, and so he escaped and coincidently got on a ship 200 miles away and went to what is now believed to be france so probaby called Gaul back then.  Miracles happened along the way it is said that when Patrick and his crew were just about to starve they saw wild animals.  He studied in the monastery under St. Germain, bishop of Auxerre for a period of twelve years during his time in Gaul. During his training he became aware that his calling was to convert the pagans to Christianity.
When he got back to Ireland he felt it was his duty to tell the people of Ireland about the Christian religion and so he travelled from village to village talking of his faith.  Some men however came up to him and were just wondering why it makes sense and so Patrick picked one of the shamrocks growing in the area, "Here are three leaves," he said, "yet it is one plant. Imagine the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit as each of these leaves. Here they are, yet they are one plant." The tribesmen understood, because Patrick had used a familiar object to explain. From that time on, the shamrock has been a revered symbol of Ireland.

Patrick became a legend in his own right and ever since stories have been created about him including how he got rid of every snake in ireland, he died on 17th March 461AD, which has ever since become a day of mourning, but in more modern times a day when people celebrate his life.  All around the world it is known of St Patrick and even if your not Irish people celebrate all around the world, even Disneyland Resort Paris  .

Great idea!!! Although I knew a lot already.  They explained the St Patrick story on the news here in Belgium when they showed how the Irish and Belgians were celebrating in Brussels and over the world.
