Quote from: "Baloo"Ratatouille isn't released in the UK until 5th October 2007 now!!!

I remember they did this with Nemo back in 2003... bastards!

They're probably doing it because of the other film competition in summer, I mean, if you went up to some random person and said "would you rather go and see Ratatouille, the Simpsons Movie, Harry Potter or Pirates of the caribbean(Can't wait  )", Ratatouille would be the last film in their mind (no offence!). It's Disney/Pixar's way of getting more money at the box office!

Oh well sounds like another chicken little and we the boring English as no doubt we are seen by the British Board of Film Classification, do not need so many movies at one time.  I personally would say as ever ratatouille will be the 2nd movie for people to see if it came out in the summer.  Afterall by mid summer Pirates will be dying down a lot and the Potter.  Who hasn't got sick of David Ratcliffe running around with his wand and pointing it at some annoying person and the whole world is saved.  Even worse it will no doubt go on for a lotr type time scale bah.

As for the simpsons movie, as fun as it seems, it's just about 5 or 10 years too late really.

Bring on Ratatouille anyway, cannot wait but I agree bastards for giving us it so late  .

Hahaha.. yeah, if we put off the release of the film long enough we might never have to see it. :P Actually, I think even though some british people tend to dislike the french for no reason at all (just as some french very much dislike us for no reason at all - it goes two ways, lol), "frenchness" is very popular.  People like Paris, they like the language, the style, the culture... I'm really looking forward to seeing Pixar's take on it. :)

Ratatouille seems like a more October/Autumn film anyway, I should probably question why Disney always feel they *have* to release Pixar films in the summer.

If they keep doing 1 per year like this, they'll start to get too predictable and less like "events", like the late 90s Disney films...

I totaly agree Baloo. Anyway, Disney have always had a good run with their movies were released in October around half term.

Nights are drawing in, the movie is more of an event, than being just another movie as they are in the summer.

And still in time for Xmas presents as a spin off!

A new trailer!

Paris looks beautiful, and such wonderful animation - especially when Remy's in the jar talking to the chef.  It looks totally different to what we've seen of Pixar before.

Aaaaw, that is just sooo sweet!   :ears:

I just love Disney/Pixar productions, they're so much better than only-Disney-computer-animations!! And I love films where animals are the main characters :)
The rat is just soooo cute!! What's his name?

When will this film start in European cinemas? Or, more important: Will there be Ratatouille characters in the WDS Park? In September?

Pixar are such a great company lets just pray that another company are not making a movie about a Rat. has anyone else noticed that when a Disney or Pixar movie comes out company sometimes produce a film with a Similar theme.Like Finding Nemo - Shark Tale
                               The Wild       - Madagascar
                               A Bugs Life - Antz
